Solar Opposites is a new animated series coming to Hulu next month, and the streaming service has now released a trailer for the series. Our House Grief Support Center’s Associate Board hosts the 9th annual Night For Hope fundraiser on November 17th at The Palace Theater in Downtown Los Angeles.
Melissa Rivers, Our House ambassador, will take the stage to dedicate a night of laughter to her mother. Since the death of her mother, comedy legend Joan Rivers, Melissa continues to make sure laughter is a part of her every day. “I am honored to be a part of an organization like Our House, which provides a place for people to cry and laugh and remember their loved ones.”
This year, the Night For Hope will feature comics Vargus Mason, Esther Povitsky, aka “Little Esther,” and Adam Ray, all introduced by Mc Jc Cocoli for a night full of laughs and finding hope through grief. Inspiration for the evening’s theme came from an Associate Board member who felt she might never laugh...

The Lion Guard is a somewhat surprisingly good show airing on Disney Junior, and the story of Kion and his friends continues with a new DVD release The Lion Guard: Unleash the Power.
The release is the first collection of episodes available on DVD, and it’s not only a good selection because these are episodes that focus on the individual members of the Guard, but because these are some of the series’ most rewatchable efforts.
The show is not just a fun adventure for kids, but the series takes on a broad range within its episodic content, tackling some tricky issues, without actually decoding its own efforts and bogging down in overt explanation.
For example, the episode Fuli’s New Family spans a variety of issues, but chief among them is an examination of the idea that just because doing something seems objectively “right,” or, “how friends act,...

Hakuna matata, everybody! "The Lion King" is returning -- it's the circle of life after all -- with a primetime TV movie this November on the Disney Channel. Disney/ABC just shared details on "The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar," which will follow Kion, the second-born cub of Simba and Nala, as he assumes the role of leader of the Lion Guard, a team of animals tasked with preserving the Pride Lands. This movie event will lead into "The Lion Guard" TV series, premiering in early 2016 on Disney Channels and Disney Junior channels.
