Stars: Scott Adkins, Waleed Elgadi, Tom Berenger, Meena Rayann, Michael Jai White, Aaron Toney | Written by Jamie Russell | Directed by James Nunn
Not only is One More Shot filmed with the illusion of being one long take like its predecessor 2021’s One Shot, it does something more important. It reunites director James Nunn and writer Jamie Russell with the previous film’s leads, Scott Adkins as Navy Seal Jake Harris and Waleed Elgadi as terrorist Amin Mansur.
Following the events of the first film, Harris is escorting Mansur back to the US where they plan to get him to reveal the whereabouts of a dirty bomb set to explode during the State of the Union Address, which the President, of course, refuses to postpone. For leverage, CIA Agent Marshall has brought Mansur’s pregnant wife Niesha to meet his plane. But they’re not the only ones there to meet the flight.

Donald Trump is making his final plea this weekend leading up to the Republican Iowa caucuses on Monday, but the weather has been uncooperative. His two planned Iowa rally stops on Saturday in Sioux City and Atlantic instead turned into a tele-rally featuring Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird held that evening. He is currently expected to appear at an in-person rally on Sunday in Indianola.
Rather than the usual format, Bird tossed Trump questions, which he answered in his typical meandering way. Case in point, Bird asked about a “big...

So if you want to own a digital copy of the show, now’s your chance. One caveat: no news on whether the show will be available in Canada, with it still absent from Disney Star here north of the border, making it seem like the music rights are keeping the show from being more widely available.

All 67 episodes of the classic comedy series starring Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd will be available to stream on the service beginning on October 10, 2023.

Donald Trump, his close allies, and attorneys are exploring ways to weaponize recent, unverified claims that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has engaged in an “improper relationship” with a special prosecutor working for her.
Though the veracity of the allegations is unknown, Trumpland is already discussing different ideas for marshaling considerable resources to try and dig up even more dirt on, among other things, Willis’ “sex life and… her money” in an effort to shut down the criminal case against the former president and his associates, says an attorney close to Trump.

“Well, it was mostly based on the family I murdered.”
So said Emerald Fennell during a discussion of the film she wrote and directed, “Saltburn,” that was part of TheWrap Screening Series. She was, of course, joking about what inspired her latest movie, but her deadpan delivery fit right into the tonal razor’s edge that “Saltburn” assuredly walks, straddling horror, melodrama and pitch-black comedy. It’s the story of Oliver Quick (Barry Keoghan), an Oxford student of modest means with a tragic backstory who befriends and becomes infatuated with an aristocratic classmate named Theo Catton, played by Jacob Elordi. When Oliver joins Theo at Saltburn, his family’s dazzlingly posh estate, Oliver’s true motivations become evident.

One email, in a batch newly released under Georgia’s public records law, contains an exchange between the former president’s defense lawyers and prosecutors showing that District Attorney of Fulton County Fani Willis suggested that the attorneys had a lengthy road ahead of them.
Willis said, “Long after these folks are in jail, we will still be practicing law.”
Another exchange between the defense lawyers and Willis showed Trump attorney Steve Sadow sharing that he was upset about an unfinished Rudy Giuliani transcript.
The attorney had a problem with the language utilized by the defense and stated that Trump’s team would be given the entire transcript in the next production of discovery.

It’s been a difficult year for the Willis family as they deal with Bruce Willis‘ declining health after he was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (Ftd) back in February. And the holidays are especially hard. Bruce’s wife, Emma Heming Willis, opened up on Thursday, December 28, in a video on her Instagram page where she talked about the holidays and recent anniversary celebration, noting that she had “a good cry” with one of her close friends. “Holidays are hard. Anniversaries are hard. “Saltburn,” “Oppenheimer,” “Killers of the Flower Moon,” “Barbie,” “Poor Things,” and “Asteroid City” all earned nominations from the Critics Choice Awards for Best Production Design. That bodes well for each film’s Oscar chances this year. But before we get too ahead of ourselves by predicting who might win this category, let’s take a look back at the last 10 Oscar winners for Best Production Design.
We’re going to take a look at the academy’s tastes here to see what type of films in what type of setting they nominate most. Then, we’ll try to apply those findings to this year’s race as we scrutinize the movies hoping for a nomination in this design category. Here we go.

In October, former Trump lawyers Sidney Powell and Kenneth Chesebro both agreed to write apology letters after their guilty pleas in the Fulton County, Georgia, election fraud case, which indicted 19 people for trying to overturn the state’s 2020 presidential election results.
Their letters, which were acquired by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution via an open records request, were each one sentence long, seeming to mock prosecutors.
“I apologize for my actions in connection with the events in Coffee County,” Powell said in her letter written on October 19.
“I apologize to the citizens of the State of Georgia and of Fulton County for my involvement in Count 15 of the indictment,” Chesebro declared in his apology letter written on October 20.
The letters do not address the legitimacy of President Joe Biden winning Georgia’s 2020 election or condemn the unfounded conspiracy theories they promoted to claim that Trump had been fraudulently cheated out of victory.

Luc Besson's "The Fifth Element" certainly has one of the most eclectic casts of any '90s blockbuster. On one hand, you have a variety of established actors. Then-beloved action hero Bruce Willis was the film's centerpiece, propped by British thespians like Gary Oldman and Ian Holm, both of whom had garnered recognition in major Hollywood blockbusters. On the other hand, you have a variety of unknown variables: Milla Jovovich, a young Russian model just getting her start on film; Chris Tucker, a hyperactive comedian slowly on the rise after "Friday," which also just so happened to feature "Fifth Element" co-star Tommy "Tiny" Lister Jr., an actor-turned-wrestler-turned-actor-again. Besson's call sheet of obscure talents goes on and on. However, it is exactly the director's ethno-galactically diverse, if often aesthetically disparate, vision for the film that makes the cast of "The Fifth Element" fit surprisingly well together.

Does the latest exit from a Dick Wolf series offer a hint as to how that season-ending explosion might leave the team? Heida Reed will be departing FBI: International “early” in its third season, set to premiere on February 13, according to TVLine. She debuted as Special Agent Jamie Kellett in the series premiere (which was part of a three-show crossover). According to the outlet, this is “creatively driven.” This news comes after Season 2 ended with the entire Fly Team — Scott (Luke Kleintank), Jamie, Vo (Vinessa Vidotto), Smitty (Eva-Jane Willis), and Powell (Greg Hovanessian) inside, Raines (Carter Redwood) outside — caught up in an explosion from the first floor of the building in which their headquarters is located. The only one we saw in the aftermath was Raines, unconscious. Since it’s unclear what “early” means, it’s possible that Jamie dies or is seriously ...

New York, Dec 3 (Ians) A great deal of media coverage of actor Bruce Willis’ medical condition, frontotemporal degeneration, was inaccurate, revealing the public’s limited knowledge of the disease, new research has revealed.
In 2022, Willis’ family released a statement saying that he had been diagnosed with aphasia, an acquired language impairment, and would retire from acting.
Ten months later, the family issued another statement indicating doctors had diagnosed Willis with a more specific condition, frontotemporal degeneration.
This resulted in an explosion of media coverage, as prominent news outlets produced stories describing frontotemporal degeneration to a public largely unfamiliar with the disease.
A new paper in the journal Innovation in Aging, published by Oxford University Press, showed that the media misconstrued the disease. Rather than describing how frontotemporal degeneration was discovered to be the underlying source of Willis’ aphasia, many reports described his aphasia as “progressing into” frontotemporal degeneration, implying they are two different disorders.

Plot: Obliterated is a high octane action-comedy from the creators of Cobra Kai that tells the story of an elite special forces team who thwarts a deadly threat to Las Vegas. After their celebratory party, filled with booze, drugs and sex, the team discovers that the bomb they deactivated was a fake. The now intoxicated team has to fight through their impairments, overcome their personal issues, find the real bomb, and save the world.
Review: When an elite team of special forces, commandos, and spies team up to save the day, that is usually the end of the story. The credits typically roll on a happy ending once the bad guy is killed and the world is saved. The new series Obliterated looks at what happens when that celebration is premature in a blend of the team action of The A-Team with the drug and alcohol-fueled excess of The Hangover.

While The Buccaneers on Apple TV+ is based on Edith Wharton’s unfinished novel of the same name, the show also depicts some of the real history from the 1870s as well. Wharton modeled the main characters after people she knew during her debutante days and other prominent figures of the era.

Scout Larue Willis, the second eldest daughter of actor Bruce Willis, has shared a video of her and her father spending Thanksgiving weekend together. In the clip, captioned “My guy,” Scout can be seen clasping Bruce’s hand to her cheek. Watch the touching video below (courtesy of The Daily Mail). The Die Hard star’s family revealed his frontotemporal dementia diagnosis back in February, just one year after he was first diagnosed with aphasia. According to the Alzheimer’s Association, “the nerve cell damage caused by frontotemporal dementia leads to loss of function in these brain regions, which variably cause deterioration in behavior, personality and/or difficulty with producing or comprehending language.” It’s not known if other members of...

When “Moonlighting” premiered on ABC on March 3, 1985, with a two-hour movie, all the ingredients for what a blockbuster the show became were in place. Cybill Shepherd and Bruce Willis had undeniable chemistry; the verbal dexterity was on full display; and the ingredients for what would become the show’s signature physical comedy was there in the climactic moment at the airport. No, wait, at the top of the Capitol Records building. No, no, it was at the top of the Eastern Columbia Building in downtown Los Angeles. The full sequence is one of the most thrilling, vertigo-inducing action moments of any TV series then or today, as audiences are discovering now that “Moonlighting” is streaming on Hulu. Not only is the building itself gorgeous, but as reluctant new partners in a detective agency on their first case, Shepherd and Willis dangle over the edge and clamber onto a horizontal ladder directly over downtown L.

In a recent piece published in Maria Shriver’s Sunday Paper, Emma Heming Willis wrote that the stretch between when Bruce Willis was diagnosed and now has offered some glimmers of positive possibilities she may not have otherwise expected, chiefly in how her husband’s prominence can help bring more awareness. “I have so much more hope today than I did after Bruce was first diagnosed. I understand this disease more now, and I’m now connected to an incredible community of support. I have hope in having found a...

Bruce Willis was diagnosed with dementia and his wife Emma Heming Willis is opening up about the struggles and lessons amid the actor’s health journey.
In an essay published in Maria Shriver’s Sunday Paper, Emma talks about the “guilt” she feels knowing that there are other people in a similar situation as her without the resources the Willis family has.
“I struggle with guilt, knowing that I have resources that others don’t. When I’m able to get out for a hike to clear my head, it’s not lost on me that not all care partners can do that,” she writes. “When what I share about our family’s journey gets press attention, I know that there are many thousands of untold, unheard stories, each of them deserving of compassion and concern.”
However, Emma hopes that generating attention for frontotemporal dementia, known as Ftd, helps other people “feel seen and understood.

When we talk about the cast of "Pulp Fiction," we rarely seem to mention the name Bruce Willis. We discuss the resurrection of John Travolta's career, the superstar explosion of Samuel L. Jackson, the complete shift of how we saw former ingénue Uma Thurman, the hilarious monologue by Christopher Walken, and the bizarre energy of Quentin Tarantino himself as Jimmy. Meanwhile, Willis is almost seen as an afterthought.
Most of the discussion surrounding the story of Willis' Butch is about what happens in that story. You have Zed, the gimp, the pawn shop weapon selection, and the surprise death of Travolta's Vincent Vega. It's the section of "Pulp Fiction" that ramps up the violence and the extremity, but in a way, it also feels the most disconnected from the rest of the film. I find this pushing aside of what Willis is bringing to Tarantino's sophomore feature...

It wasn’t a tough decision for Anthony Willis when Emerald Fennell asked him to compose Saltburn, the drama that stars Barry Keoghan as a young and nerdy Oxford university student who becomes obsessed with a popular and wealthy student (Jacob Elordi).
Willis had made the music Fennell’s Promising Young Women, and was obsessed himself with the director’s enthusiasm and sense of humor when approaching a project — especially a daring one like Saltburn, which also stars Rosamund Pike, Richard E. Grant, Archie Madekwe, Alison Oliver and Promising Young Woman‘s Carey Mulligan.
The MGM Amazon Studios pic had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival and hits U.S. theaters next week.
“She brings out something special in every department,” Willis said of Fennell during a panel for the movie at Deadline’s Sound and Screen: Film event. “She’s such an egalitarian. She has dirty synth.

Tallulah Willis, the daughter of Bruce Willis, recently shared an update on her father’s condition during her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show. She discussed how her father has been coping with his frontotemporal dementia (Ftd) diagnosis. “He is the same, which I think in this regard I’ve learned is the best thing you can ask for,” the 29-year-old told Drew Barrymore. She continued, “I see love when I’m with him, and it’s my dad and he loves me, which is really special.” In February, Willis was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia just one year after he was first diagnosed with aphasia, according to the Willis family. The news came from a joint statement from the family, including his wife, Emma Heming Willis, and their two daughters, Maybel Ray and Evelyn Penn, as well as his ex-wife, Demi Moore, and their three daughters, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah.

This article contains spoilers for The Buccaneers episode 1.
Based on Edith Wharton’s unfinished novel, The Buccaneers is Apple TV+’s newest original series. The story follows five young American women from wealthy families in the 1870s looking to move up the social ladder by marrying the cash-poor and status-rich sons of the British gentry.
The first episode, “American Poison,” introduces the young women, their families, and the way the marriage market is not as romantic as depicted in other period dramas or previous Wharton adaptations. Conchita “Conchi” Closson (Alisha Boe) was the first American woman to marry a British Duke. Her friends Annabelle “Nan” St. George (Kristine Frøseth) and her sister Virginia “Jinny” (Imogen Waterhouse) plus sisters Mabel (Josie Totah) and Lizzie (Aubri Ibrag) Elmsworth are also hoping some of Conchi’s luck rubs off on them. "Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning" begins, like all good "Digimon" stories should, with Maurice Ravel's "Boléro." The track starts playing as a giant Digi-egg appears floating above Tokyo Tower. It quickly starts emitting an electromagnetic pulse that impacts every screen on the planet and declares "May everyone in the world have friends. May they each have a Digimon," in several languages. When the egg hatches, it spells chaos around the world, and it is up to the second-generation DigiDestined to stop it.
Except, there's not much in terms of fighting. There are no Dark Masters threatening to destroy the world. Compared to other "Digimon" movies, the action is barely there, but the film still offers a dark and engrossing story that brings "Digimon" to psychological and even body horror territory. It may not be the big "Digimon" event that fans of the emotionally devastating "Last Evolution Kizuna" may be expecting,...

For over half a century "The Twilight Zone" has been the gift that keeps on giving. Classic episodes of the sci-fi/horror/fantasy anthology series have spanned out across the decades, from influential writers, iconic filmmakers, and once-and-future superstar actors. You could throw a dart at a list of episodes and you'd probably hit a gold mine of exciting storytelling and Hollywood trivia.
And if you aim that dart high enough, you might just hit the very first episode of the 1985 "Twilight Zone" reboot on CBS, which started off on a very strong note. The first installment in the pilot episode was a freaky psychological horror tale from acclaimed author Harlan Ellison, legendary horror director Wes Craven, and a very young Bruce Willis, just a few months after the debut of his star-making TV series "Moonlighting."

Back when the mischief incarnate Norse god Loki was introduced as one of the chief antagonists in Thor, and later went on to become the genocidal maniac in The Avengers, no one could have assumed that his character might go through the most uniquely written arc the MCU has managed to produce so far. Thanks to the space allowed during the span of the Disney+ series of the same name, Loki went on to become a fan favorite, a relatable element of chaos, a symbol of change and the flow of life itself, and the introspective, humane approach to the character taken by the showrunners is responsible for that. The fifth episode of the second season of the series “Science/Fiction” respects the approach by once again wielding Loki’s humanity as the fulcrum of the narrative, which drives the overarching plot of Tva’s multiverse crisis forward.

Throughout the criminal investigations of Donald Trump, the former president has expected his co-defendants, alleged co-conspirators, and potential witnesses for the prosecution to stay fiercely loyal to him. This has included — according to people who’ve discussed the matter with him — his belief that some of his former lieutenants should risk jail time rather than turn on him.
As he’s faced an array of criminal charges, Trump’s demands for aides and lawyers to martyr themselves for him hasn’t saved him. If anything, it’s done the opposite,...

Matthew Perry’s death on Oct. 28 has sent fans into mourning. It has also led many to revisit some of Perry’s greatest work, including his breakout role in Friends and the movie roles that came after it. His contribution to Friends was immense. The actor clearly took the character of Chandler Bing and made it his own. His acting helped elevate the ensemble cast. Still, Perry’s contributions to the series were far more varied than you might think. In fact, he is the reason Bruce Willis agreed to appear on Friends. Perry is also the reason Willis opted to donate his entire paycheck from his three-episode story arc on the series.
Why did Bruce Willis appear on ‘Friends’?
Bruce Willis did not want to appear on a TV show in the early 2000s. Willis was a movie star in every way possible. That doesn’t mean he was...

"Friends" star Matthew Perry acted alongside some of the biggest names in Hollywood before his tragic death on October 28, 2023, at the age of 54. Perry's roles -- primarily in comedies -- set the tone for his sprawling career. In one of these appearances, he starred alongside an actor whom he would later praise for his sheer coolness.
Perry starred alongside Bruce Willis in "The Whole Nine Yards," a 2000 action-comedy flick that also starred Amanda Peet and Michael Clarke Duncan. Perry played Nicholas "Oz" Oseransky, a dentist who is surprised to learn that his new neighbor is contract killer Jimmy "The Tulip" Tudeski (Willis). This wouldn't be the only time the duo would star alongside each other, however, as Willis would also land a guest role in "Friends" that would earn him an Emmy in 2000.
The two actors developed a strong relationship during their time starring opposite one another in the film and on "Friends.

If one were to take a random poll in an attempt to determine the greatest action movie of all time, 100 times out of 100, "Die Hard" is probably going to come out on top. Bruce Willis' 1988 classic transcends the genre and has become a shining example of how popcorn entertainment can also achieve pure cinematic perfection. 35 years and four sequels later there is a lingering question: is "Die Hard 6" still going to happen?
Thoughts on the sequels to John McTiernan's original classic vary but all of the films made money. Inevitably in Hollywood, that means another sequel. The last time we saw Willis suit up as John McClane was a full decade ago in "A Good Day to Die Hard." Shortly thereafter, it was first revealed that a sixth installment was in the works. Ten years later, we're still waiting. So, what's going on with "Die Hard 6"? Would Willis be involved?...

Attorney Jenna Ellis, once a steadfast media defender of Donald Trump and his false claims that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him, pleaded guilty today in the Georgia election case.
Ellis, who was a former legal adviser to Trump, pleaded guilty to a single felony charge of aiding and abetting false statements and writing.
She was sentenced to five years probation, $5,000 restitution and 100 hours of community service. She also will cooperate with prosecutors as they pursue cases against other defendants.
In court, with her voice quavering, Ellis said that she failed to do her “due diligence” in investigating the claims that the election was rigged.
“I believe in and I value election integrity,” Ellis said. “If I knew then what I know now, I would have declined to represent Donald Trump in these post-election challenges. I look back on this whole experience with deep remorse.”

Neiman Marcus welcomed Schiaparelli’s creative director, Daniel Roseberry, to Los Angeles with Demi Moore and her daughter, Scout Willis, among the well-wishers.
Both wearing Schiaparelli, Moore and Scout looked beautiful for the welcome party.

U.S. writer-director Terry Gilliam had the crowd in stitches throughout his masterclass at the Lumière Film Festival, where he presented the restored version of his 1995 cult movie “12 Monkeys.”
The former Monty Python member, whose career as a director started with the 1975 satirical comedy “Monty Python and the Holy Grail,” said that while he was keen to approach difficult subjects, he had learnt from Mary Poppins the secret of success.
“She taught me that the sugar helps the medicine go down,” he quipped, to the audience’s delight.
On a more serious note, Gilliam said that his main goal as a filmmaker was “to make films that make you think about the world in a different way.”
Rejecting the way reality is presented by the media, which he described as “too limited,” Gilliam said it could be “more fascinating, bizarre and surprising.”

“Moonlighting” was more than a watercooler show. It was an obsession. Episodes were taped and rewatched. And for good reason. There had never been a anything on the small screen like the 1985-89 ABC romantic screwball comedy detective series. The rapid-fire dialogue recalled such Howard Hawks’ classics as 1938’s ‘Bringing Up Baby” and 1940’ “His Girl Friday.” Fourth walls were broken. There was a black-and-white episode and even and wild and crazy take on William Shakespeare’s “The Taming of the Shrew.” That was just the tip of the innovations.
Creator and executive producer Glenn Gordon Caron told me in a 2000 L.A. Times interview that ABC didn’t give him total freedom when it came to the episodes: “The truth is no one let me do everything. I just did it. Ignorance is bliss. There were rules and I chose not to listen to anybody. At a certain point, the network said- ‘This is working.

Bruce Willis burst onto the American entertainment scene as the glib, smart-alecky detective David Addison Jr. opposite Cybill Shepherd’s Maddie Haynes in ABC’s Moonlighting, a show that helped launch the dramedy genre. Willis was not long for the small screen, though, with his his sharp tongue and sarcastic wit destined for bigger things.
More than 90 films and $5.3 billion later, Willis has played a smart-aleck New York detective in the Die Hard series, a smart-aleck oil driller-turned-astronaut in Armageddon, a smart-aleck cop in The Last Boy Scout, a smart-aleck gangster in Last Man Standing, a smart-aleck soldier in Tears of the Sun … well, you get the picture.
When he wasn’t cracking wise, Willis played many other memorable roles in films that included The Bonfire of the Vanities (1990), Billy Bathgate (1991), Color of Night (1994), 12 Monkeys (1995), The Fifth Element (1997), The Sixth Sense (1999) The Story of Us (1999), Looper (2012) and Motherless Brooklyn...

He’s an extraordinary person,” Caron said. “The thing that makes [his disease] so mind-blowing is [that] if you’ve ever spent time with Bruce Willis, there is no one who had any more joie de vivre than he.

“The process [to get Moonlighting on streaming] has taken quite a while and Bruce’s disease is a progressive disease, so I was able to communicate with him, before the disease rendered him as incommunicative as he is now, about hoping to get the show back in front of people,” Caron told the New York Post. “I know he’s really happy that the show is going to be available for people, even though he can’t tell me that. When I got to spend time with him, we talked about it and I know he’s excited.

Glenn Gordon Caron, the creator of Moonlighting and a close friend of Bruce Willis, is sharing an update on the actor’s health amid his battle with frontotemporal dementia.
Caron recently told the New York Post that he tries to see the Die Hard star about once a month, and that he does feel that Willis still recognizes him during his visits.
“My sense is the first one to three minutes he knows who I am,” he said. “He’s not totally verbal; he used to be a voracious reader — he didn’t want anyone to know that — and he’s not reading now. All those language skills are no longer available to him, and yet he’s still Bruce.”
He added, “When you’re with him, you know that he’s Bruce and you’re grateful that he’s there, but the joie de vivre is gone.”
