Andy Warhol's famed Factory photographer Nat Finkelstein has died. He was 76.
Finkelstein died on 2 October due to complications of pneumonia and emphysema, according to his wife.
Images of Warhol, his muse Edie Sedgwick, rockers Velvet Underground and Bob Dylan are among Finkelstein's starstudded portfolio.
He chronicled his years as the pop artist's house photographer during the 1960s in books including The Andy Warhol Index, Andy Warhol: The Factory Years, 1964-1967, Andy Warhol: A Portfolio, and most recently in 2006's Edie Factory Girl.
At the time of his death, Finkelstein was putting the final touches on his own memoir, The Fourteen-Ounce Pound.
In addition to his wife, Elizabeth, he is survived by a brother, Howard.
