Daniel grew up in Northern California. It was his love of nature that made him pick up a camera that started
his passion for photography. Daniel's aunt, Nancy Holmes, was a photographer for Columbia Pictures shooting and
befriending celebrates Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, Rex Harrison, Christopher Plummer, Kirk Douglas and Goldie Hawn.
He studied film and communications at Stanford University and then was hired by MGM Home Video to photograph their celebrities at premier events.
Daniel then changed his scope to travel photographer in Asia for publications and in 2017 was hired as still photographer on the feature film 'Kickboxer Retaliation' starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, Mike Tyson and Christopher Lambert. In 2019 he was brought on to be the still photographer 'Jiu Jitsu' starring Nicolas Cage filmed on the island of Cyprus.
He continues to this date with his travel photography for publications in Asia and has some upcoming feature films he'll be working on.
