Former "Blue's Clues" host Steve Burns is ready to take on 16-time WWE champ John Cena for his old post when the beloved Nickelodeon show is rebooted later this year. Steve, who hosted "Blue's Clues" for 7 years, told us part of the magic of the show was that there was an average Joe in the driver's seat. So far, Nickelodeon hasn't announced who's gonna be the new host, and Steve's still in the running, but...

Over the weekend, Marvel and ABC held a press conference for their upcoming series Inhumans and it ended up being pretty awkward. Just as awkward as the weak footage that we've seen in the trailers for the show.
Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb was getting defensive with the press about the series and even fired back at them at certain points. Actor Anson Mount also commented on feeling like Ben Affleck.
When one of the press members brought up the fact that the show didn't look like it made good use of the IMAX camera technology, Loeb said that it's "simply extraordinary and should be seen on that screen".
Another reporter made a statement before asking their question that the quality of the episode that was screened for critics was “not suitable” for IMAX screens, to which Loeb replied:
“I think you’re making an editorial statement, and I’m wondering what the question is.

A review of The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story finale coming up just as soon as I've discussed this case less than everybody in America... Back in January, when we'd both watched only the first few People v. O.J. screeners, I got into a conversation about it with another TV writer. We were both enjoying it, but at the same time, she had the same question I did: Is this a genuinely great show, or just an entertaining version of an irresistible story? There were, after all, some of the weird tonal shifts evident in a lot of Ryan Murphy's work (though usually in stuff he's written, which he wasn't doing here). Cuba Gooding Jr. was miscast (too small, voice not commanding enough), John Travolta seemed to be getting different direction from everyone else in the production, the swipes at the Kardashian kids felt a...

NBC has relocated struggling Thursday dramas "Aquarius" and "Hannibal" to Saturdays, a night that's been home to many a dead show walking like "Hannibal." The problem is that "Aquarius" not only hasn't already been canceled like "Hannibal," but has already been renewed for a second season. The move, first reported by Joe Flint, comes as both shows have been flailing on Thursday nights, and is being done to appease NBC's local affiliates who aren't happy with getting such a terrible lead-in to their late local news. NBC had already committed to airing the rest of this third season of "Hannibal" — which, based on Bryan Fuller's comments at Comic-Con, seems increasingly likely to be its final season in this form — and moving it to Saturday allows them to do it without hurting the bottom line as much. "Aquarius," though, was renewed a few weeks ago, and NBC told Adweek's Jason Lynch...

Six seasons and a movie? Six seasons, a movie, and then a seventh season? Six seasons and goodbye? Where exactly do things stand with "Community"? The sitcom wrapped its sixth season, and first as part of Yahoo Screen, with an episode that felt even more like a series finale than any of the previous maybe-kinda-sorta finales. (Spoilers follow.) "Emotional Consequences of Broadcast Television" had Jeff and the other characters speculating on what a "season 7" of their adventures might look like, and which characters would be a part of it. Jeff eventually made peace with the idea that he'll likely be the last member of the original study group still at Greendale, and he sent Abed and Annie off for new job opportunities in Hollywood and with the FBI, respectively. On top of that, Gillian Jacobs and Ken Jeong already have new series jobs lined up. At an La Times event on Tuesday,...

Disney has snapped up rights to another beloved franchise. Variety/Deadline are reporting The Walt Disney Studios and Paramount Pictures have finalized an agreement over rights to the Indiana Jones franchise. Paramount has held onto the rights to Indiana Jones ever since they financed Raiders of the Lost Ark with Steven Spielberg in 1981, securing a five-picture deal in the process. Recently, Disney has been working hard to acquire all our favorite childhood franchises. In this deal they got the "distribution and marketing rights to future films, in addition to retaining its current ownership rights" when they acquired Lucasfilm. .twitter-tweet { margin: 12px auto !important; }Star Wars, Marvel, Muppets, now Indiana Jones...if Disney just buys the Back to the Future rights, it will own my entire childhood.— Jason Lynch (@jasonlynch) December 6, 2013 This is big news because it means that Disney, now working directly with Lucasfilm and Spielberg (under his banner...

Too many chiefs?
Love is in the air, particularly online. If you don’t want to have the hassle of going down the local, hanging around the bar and trying to catch the eye of the guy or girl you’re interested in, why not try online dating? So says Lord Sugar (whose online handle would surely be SugarDaddy, were he to have one) and sends the guys off to set up their own dating agency. Well, no, not quite: they have to setup a website, film a TV advert and come up with a new, fresh concept for the fast-changing and highly competitive world of online dating. With a need for balance between the two teams, Jordan is moved over to Endeavour, so now we have four candidates on each team.
So who do you think is going to be Pm for Evolve? Luisa, probably: she surely knows all about dating,...

Get ready for more table flipping -- and some political backstabbing! The Real Housewives of New Jersey will return for a second season, while a new group of women in D.C. will become Real Housewives, Bravo announced today. The Housewives of New Jersey's season 2 will air in 2010, but the network hasn't announced which of the women from its first season -- Danielle Staub , Dina Manzo, Jacqueline Laurita, Teresa Giudice and Caroline Manzo -- will be back. Meanwhile, the network also revealed that it has chosen Washington D.C. for its next Real Housewives location. That show, the network's fifth franchise, will also air in 2010. "A place for power and politics, Bravo scouted the D.C. area to identify the city's alluring and discriminating residents, the women who have their pulse on the most important cultural events, political galas, gallery openings and fundraisers in Washington society," Frances Berwick, Executive Vice...

Let the catfighting begin! Heather Locklear is reprising her most famous role, ad exec Amanda Woodward, as she returns to Melrose Place on an episode scheduled to air Nov. 17, the CW announced on Tuesday. “We’re ecstatic to have the chance to bring Amanda Woodward back to Melrose Place,” executive producers Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer said in a press release. “Heather’s involvement in the show is something we’ve been working on for some time as we couldn’t imagine creating and producing this show without the iconic character’s inclusion." People first reported last month that the actress, 47, was in talks to appear on the show. Locklear joined the original Melrose Place during its first season, and remained until it went off the air in 1999. There’s no word on how long Locklear’s stint on the show will last. Other stars from the original series who...

Just days after opening up about her relationship with Frédéric Thiébaud, Shania Twain is also getting cozy -- professionally-speaking -- with Simon Cowell during her stint as a guest judge for American Idol's Chicago auditions. "She's loving American Idol. She's having the best time," says a source close to the singer, who is filling Paula Abdul's vacant seatduring auditions Monday and Tuesday in the Windy City. "She and Simon have a really great rapport with each other. They're funny together." Cowell isn't the only one having fun with Twain, 44. "The crew loved working with her," says an Idol source. "Everyone thought she was a great addition to the judges' table. She showed up in good spirits and had a lot of fun. She was clearly really excited to be a part of the day." Twain's stint on the talent search capped an unusually public week for the typically private singer,...
