He was drafted in the second round of the 1998 NFL Draft by the
Steelers where he played three seasons, starting in eleven games in the
1999 season. He played in 31 career games, recording 20 tackles and no
quarterback sacks. Pat Tillman's death motivated him to join the Marine
Corps.
