What do Evan Turner's Ferrari and the Indiana Pacers season have in common? They both ran out of gas before they reached the finish line. A video posted by a friend of Turner's shows the former Buckeye stranded in the middle of the freeway, gassing up while his girl texted away her embarrassment. Check out the video, Turner seems to be handling the situation pretty well, not even reacting to the good-natured ribbing his boy was giving him.

Yesterday, the Indiana Pacers traded Danny Granger to the Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers for Evan Turner and Lavoy Allen.
In addition to Granger, the Sixers are also getting a 2015 second-round draft pick.
Danny Granger Traded
By unloading Granger, the Pacers have freed up a considerable amount of money and picked up two players that will give them some depth, reported Sports Illustrated. "We felt we needed to make this trade to strengthen the core unit and our bench,'' Pacers president of basketball operations Larry Bird said in a statement. "In Evan and Lavoy, we think we got two really good players that can help us and we look forward to what they can bring.''
Granger’s $13 million contract with the Pacers is expiring, and after nine years with the team, his value has gone down significantly. While he made the All-Star team in 2009, his last pair of seasons have been unimpressive.

The Duke vs. Butler game was a pretty darn good finale to a great Ncaa tournament, but how did CBS do?
The "One Shining Moment" championship montage that's traditionally played as the winning team cuts down the nets aired Monday night (April 5) to mixed response, much of it negative.
Yes, Jennifer Hudson sang the new version of the song, which was originated by David Barrett and then taken up by Teddy Pendergrass and then Luther Vandross in subsequent years. Traditionalists miss those renditions, and there's nothing that can really be done unless someone has zombie Vandross or Pendergrass tucked away in their basements.
The bigger issue, however, was the montage itself. Not only did key highlights appear to be missing (Evan Turner, Ohio-Georgetown, etc.) but there were at least five music video-style shots of the "American Idol" finalist. How is J-Hud a highlight of the tourney?
See for yourself.

Walden Media has optioned Peter Craig's spec script "Relativity".
The story follows the Fergusons, who on the eve of their 35th wedding anniversary bring their children together to tell them a secret that sends shock waves throughout the household and sets off a series of humorous and moving events.
The script was brought to the company by vp development Evan Turner, who will oversee the project for Walden.
Craig's short film "Nevel Is the Devil" made its debut at the 2006 South by Southwest Film Festival and has screened at U.S. festivals. The short, a comedy in which a supervisor at a consumer product testing laboratory interrogates prank suspects, is an excerpt of Craig's feature-length script "Green" that was part of this year's Sundance writer-director lab. "Green" is in active development and would mark Craig's feature film directorial debut. Producing are Rachel Williams of Spaceman X Prods. and Diana Williams of Exit 5 Entertainment.
Craig is repped by Paradigm and David Matlof of Hirsch.
