Singer-songwriter David Ryan Harris, who’s been a guitarist in John Mayer’s band for two decades, took to social media to reveal that he and his two sons were wet by police after disembarking an American Airlines flight when a flight attendant suspected he was a child trafficker and his children were his victims.
“Apparently, a flight attendant had called ahead with some sort of concern that perhaps my mixed children weren’t my children, because they were unresponsive during an interaction with her,” Harris said in the first of several videos he shared on Instagram, as reported by People.

Hootie and the Blowfish have released “Hold On,” the uplifting first single from the band’s upcoming album Imperfect Circle. The Darius Rucker-led group wrapped up its headlining Group Therapy Tour last month with a pair of hometown shows in Columbia, South Carolina.
“Only heartache on the 6 o’clock news, they oughta call it the 6 o’clock blues,” sings Rucker in the first verse of the new song, driven by a funky, staccato guitar riff. “Hold On” was co-written by Chris Stapleton and Jim Beavers and is the only...

John Mayer announced he needed vocal surgery last fall, and now he's back and ready to hit the road.
On Monday (February 27), the Grammy-winning singer/songwriter announced plans for a spring tour, his first outing in nearly two years. The 18-date trek will kick off April 9 in Bloomington, Indiana, before wrapping up May 6 in Phoenix. The tour will be in support of his forthcoming new album, Born and Raised, which will be released sometime around the outing. The album's lead single, "Shadow Days," hits radio Monday.
The tour will help raise funds and awareness for the Northern California Institute of Research and Education, which "provides veterans with a healthy reintegration into civilian life." Mayer will auction off tickets to the shows to help raise money for the organization.

“The honeymoon is over,” declared Cat Deeley — bedazzled bird applique fastened to her chest — at the top of Thursday night’s So You Think You Can Dance Top 16 results-show telecast. And while the stylish and delightful hostess (who really, really, really needs to get an Emmy nomination this year) wasn’t fibbing, I can’t say that I’m ultimately distraught about the pair of dancers whose Season 8 vacation to dancer’s paradise came to an end as the credits rolled.
That said, a few things did stick in my craw about this week’s elimination extravaganza: Head judge Nigel Lythgoe...

Adam Rose/Fox Cat Deeley hosts “So You Think You Can Dance”
Cat comes on to tell us that a few more will be cut on tonight’s “So You Think You Can Dance” despite last night’s love in. Tonight her hair looks good, long and wavy. Maybe she read my review? Not sure how she got it that much longer overnight; could be a wig. The braid could be an extension.
There’s a group dance to “The Incredits” from “The Incredibles” soundtrack.

Crystal Bowersox, first runner-up to winner Lee DeWyze on this year's "American Idol," won't leave fans waiting for the release of her own debut album. She'll release "Farmer's Daughter" in December.
From the looks of the album, Bowersox is staying completely true to herself on her first release. On the vintage-looking cover art, the 25-year-old is pictured sitting barefoot next to a dog on an old porch.
The Ohio-native is sure to give fans more of what they fell in love with on "Idol" on "Farmer's Daughter," recorded after finishing her stint on the "American Idols Live!" tour. Among the tracks featured are her self-written "Holy Toledo," which was featured on "Idol," and a cover of Buffalo Springfield's 1967 hit "For What It's Worth."
The album also features eight tracks written solely by Bowersox, as well as a song co-written by Bowersox and her husband Brian Walker titled "Mason." She...
