It’s always great when those inside the filmmaking biz get in touch to turn us on to some of the more interesting upcoming releases so we were delighted when prolific producer Jonathan Sothcott (Dead Cert, The Asphyx remake) gave us a heads-up regarding the UK DVD release of Robert Pratten’s indie body-horror Mindflesh.
Sothcott had this to say:
"Robert Pratten's Mindflesh is a film I dearly wish I'd produced - its an exceptionally original, striking movie in the Cronenberg style - gore, girls and endless psychological tricks. I was amazed it hadn't found a home on UK DVD and so introduced Robert to my friends at 4DigitalMedia, who released my first film Wishbaby. They now have it scheduled for an extras-packed DVD release later in the year when hopefully it can find the wide audience it richly deserves."

"MindFlesh," from director Robert Pratten, is now available for download from the companys website found below and several productions stills can be seen here. Involving an extraterrestrial force reviews are stating that "MindFlesh," is very Cronenberg-esque and a psychological journey through central character Chris Jackson's altered perspective. Also, on the companys website is the full trailer, that cannot be shown here, and several more productions stills.
