Lionsgate TV is looking to turn Wednesday Martin's memoir Primates of Park Avenue into a scripted comedy.
The studio is teaming with the author to develop a half-hour comedy based on her 2016 New York Times best-seller from Simon & Schuster. A network is not yet attached.
Martin will co-write the pilot and executive produce the project alongside Anonymous Content's Nicole Clemens, Stacy Cramer (Burlesque) and Heather Lieberman (Cruel Intentions).
Like the book, the potential TV series follows anthropologist Martin, who, when she first arrives on New York City's Upper East Side, is utterly out of place ...

To coincide with the 25th April release, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have given us three copies of their new movie, Burlesque to give away. The movie is released on both DVD and Blu-ray but we’ve got the high definition Blu-ray copies to give away.
Synopsis: Ali (Aguilera) is a small-town girl with a big voice who escapes hardship and an uncertain future to follow her dreams to La. After stumbling upon The Burlesque Lounge, a majestic but ailing theatre that is home to an inspired musical revue, Ali lands a job as a cocktail waitress from Tess (Cher), the club’s proprietor and headliner. Burlesque’s outrageous costumes and bold choreography enrapture the young ingénue, who vows to perform there one day.
Soon enough, Ali builds a friendship with a featured dancer (Hough), finds an enemy in a troubled, jealous performer (Bell), and garners the affection of Jack (Gigandet), a bartender and fellow musician.

Christina Aguilera and Cher are front and center in the new musical .Burlesque,. but Kristen Bell also gives it all as Aguilera.s nemesis, Nikki. In this interview, we talked about:
*** Working with Aguilera and Cher
*** Who scared and intimidated her the most?
*** Going back to her musical roots
*** Donning a black wig
*** Tapping her inner sensuality
*** Does she have what it takes to be a pop star like her co-star?
Bell also gave us a little wink-wink, nudge-nudge to her role in the upcoming film, .Scream 4. from Wes Craven.
