Single Ladies actress LisaRaye McCoy is speaking out about tensions on the set of the VH1 series with her former co-star, Stacey Dash.
The drama about a group of friends in Atlanta from different backgrounds ran from 2011 to 2015. Charity Shea, Travis Winfrey, and D.B. Woodside rounded out the main cast, with Denise Vasi later joining the show.
McCoy sat down for an interview with TV One’s autobiographical docuseries, Uncensored, and discussed an incident she said nearly forced her to lose her temper with Dash.
“One night when we were filming, she put her finger up in my face, and she said ‘you don’t tell me anything.’ Every bit of South Side Chicago was brewing in here,” McCoy said pointing to her stomach.
“It made me say, ‘Stacey, if you don’t get your finger out of my face!'” she recalled telling her co-star. “That was all I had to say.

Given the 250+ comments the post announcing the cancellation of the series has received thus far (and they're still coming in), the majority of them lamenting the news, calling for VH1 to reconsider, this should be music to the ears of many. In February, VH1 announced that, after it's 3rd season, the network would end its hit drama series Single Ladies - the Queen Latifah/Flavor Unit Entertainment produced original scripted program (which was also VH1’s first hour-long scripted series), which stars LisaRaye McCoy, Denise Vasi, Charity Shea, D.B. Woodside, Travis Winfrey, Terrell Tilford, with new additions this...

This is a surprise, especially since it's been a successful series for them, over what has now become 3 seasons. But maybe it's run its course, and, as the saying goes, it's better to go out "on top." Morning Meme: Nph Gets "Punk'd," "The Wire: The Musical," and Is Black Panther the Next Marvel Film?
Teen Wolf won the lottery for film credits in California, and will be moving production from Georgia. I'm not sure I can see them creating the same creepy forest scenes in SoCal. Maybe they'll shoot up north. I don't actually remember MTV renewing them for next season already, so this is good news.
On Thursday, Maggie Gallagher will be debating Wayne University associate professor John Corvino at the Institute for American Values at 6Pm. They'll be webcasting the event, and it should be a good one.
I'd normally ignore a discussion of a radio program by a 14-year-old, but Caiden Cowger is from my home state of West Virginia, and he's got some pretty messed up ideas about gay rights. He says that President Obama is turning kids gay. “You know what? I knew these kids — some of them I was friends with, they were not, homosexuals. They just decided,...

Read our exclusive interview with actor Travis Winfrey, who’s presently playing Omar on VH1′s first scripted series ‘Single Ladies.’ The comedy follows three women, including Val, April and Keisha, and their romantic relationships. Omar is the one constant male presence in the women’s lives, as he works at Val’s boutique. ‘Single Ladies’ has been renewed for a second season, after its first season drew a consistent 1.8 to 1.9 million viewers every week since it premiered in May 2011. Winfrey, who has appeared on a variety of different television series, including ‘Dexter’ and ‘The Secret Life of the American Teenager,’ discuses with us, among other things, what Omar’s relationship is...

For those who may not have seen it, VH1's Single Ladies is a soap about Val, Keisha, and April – three best friends with different philosophies on sex and relationships.
Val (Stacey Dash) is an ambitious aspiring fashion mogul who wants to find a true partner. Keisha (LisaRaye McCoy), on the other hand, is a former video dancer just looking for a rich man to keep her in style. April (Charity Shea,) has supposedly found the perfect man and the perfect marriage – but is learning that marriage isn’t necessarily a happy ending.
VH1 describes Single Ladies as "a modern, sexy series set in the world of Atlanta fashion, music, and celebrity that will constantly explore which woman has the right approach to relationships."
Keisha is dragged further into Malcolm's past on an all-new episode of VH1's Monday night soap opera, Single Ladies, titled "Is This The End?" airing at 9 p.
