Since January of 2007 Arthur has been Director of the Fresno Film and
Entertainment Commission, hosting, among other productions, Indiana
Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Previously he served 15
years as the founding Executive Director of the Ridgecrest Regional
Film Commission. Feature films included Tim Burton's Planet of the
Apes, Hidalgo, Holes, Jurassic Park, Bulletproof, Dinosaur, Blade:
Trinity, The Brave, Wayne's World 2, and The Break Up; as well as TV's
E R, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and Space Above & Beyond. Music
videos included Madonna's Frozen, the Corrs' Breathless plus Puff
Daddy, Marcy Playground, Filter, Great Plains Isaac Hayes, Kathy
Mattea, Aerosmith, Vanessa Williams, Alan Jackson, Donny Osmond, Kenny
Loggins, Neil Young, Dwight Yoakum and Jeff Beck. Arthur was also the
founding Chairperson of the Film Liaisons In California Statewide
(FLICS). Prior to Film Commissioner, he completed a 21-year career in
radio broadcasting holding positions from disc jockey to vice
president/general manager at 13 radio stations in 8 states. He and his
wife Emma have been married since 1978 and have three grown daughters
plus Ruby, the world's greatest dog. Hobbies include collecting Conway
Twitty albums and books on the Three Stooges.
