- Grand Master Tom Bloom holds an 8th Degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do, the primary system taught at his Southern California studio. He also holds the rank of 6th degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, and Shi Pa Gi.
Grand Master Bloom has trained thousands of Southern California residents. Approximately 280 of his students have attained the level of Black Belt, and many have gone on to become Martial Arts instructors on their own.
Grand Master Bloom was the 1983 International Karate Champion and captain of the United States fight team. His former training partners include Harold Gross, Chuck Norris, John Matthews and Alvin Prouder.
