These iconic dialogues from Tamasha starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone showcase the reality of today’s world, where people are often confused, stuck in a routine, and trying to find their true selves.
“Andar se kuch aur hi hain hum. Aur bahar se – majboor.” “Mujhe tumhara naam tak nahi pata. Koi umeed nahi hai ki mai tumse phir se miloongi. Magar main tumhare saath hoon. Ye possible hai? Aisa feel karna?” (I don’t even know your name. There is no hope that I will see you again. But I am with you. Is it possible to feel like this?) “Wo toh acting thi naa. Wo mai role play kar raha tha. Aur ye mai real mei hoon.” “Ye tum nahi ho Ved. ye sab nakli hai.” “Kyuki sab bhaag rahe hain, isliye mai bhi bhaag raha hoon.” “Kise chahiye mann ka sona, aankh ke moti. Kise padi hai andar kya hai.

Bejoy Nambiar, in the past few years since the advent of Ott content, has come up with many stories for the streaming platforms and for theaters as well. As a writer-director, he has always been known for exploring cool subjects. Sadly, he overindulges himself, and the movie or the show quickly gets out of hand. Dange, which means riots, is a film that he ambitiously directed alongside a Tamil version, trying to pull off what Mani Ratnam did with Ravan/Ravanan and Yuva/Aaytha Ezhuthu. The Tamil film is called Por and follows the same plot as the Hindi one. Set in Goa, Dange is about rivalry between two men who seemed to have a history much before they ran into each other years later in St. Martins University.

The creator of ‘The Legend of Hanuman’ Sharad Devranjan has shared that season three depicts the vast energies of Lord Hanuman intertwined with the king Ravan.
‘The Legend of Hanuman’ unfolds the journey of the warrior hero Hanuman, however, as the audience will move forward in the journey, they will discover little nuances that shaped the legendary win.
Elaborating on the same, Sharad, co-founder and CEO of Graphic India said: “Our series was shaped around the essential story of a young vaanar rediscovering his inner self. This, in itself, is a unique point of view as that journey of Lord Hanuman has not been depicted widely. We offer a fresh take on the legend.”
“This is Hanuman’s journey of self-discovery and emotional growth. In his younger version, we see traits of the legend he will become; playful, fun-loving, righteous, optimistic, humble, and authentically honest. Lord Hanuman’s journey is...

Actor Sharad Kelkar has added a dash of childhood Ram Leela magic to his Ravan character in ‘The Legend of Hanuman 3’, and despite the animated dubbing maze, he turned those tiny stage experiences into animated glory.
Elaborating on the same, Sharad said: “Throughout my childhood in a small town, we saw Ram Leela happening live every year. It was a great festive environment. It was mesmerising for me to see how these guys portrayed these characters through the 10 days of Ram Leela every day.”
“All the ‘adhya’s being played in such a tiny place without VFX or live action, with just a stage and costumes to express – it was a different feeling altogether. And that shaped my initial perception of the character of Ravan. But when you dub, you don’t quite have that ambience of a theatre and that kind of audience. Also, the Ravan from Ram Leela is not multidimensional,...

Actor Sharad Kelkar, who is the voice of Ravan in the upcoming series ‘The Legend of Hanuman 3’, has shared how the series is enjoyed by people of all ages, and said that animation gives us the power to draw the audience in.
The show brings together viewers from different age groups, making it enjoyable for everyone.
Talking about the same, Sharad said: “I think we can take a lot of liberty with animation. We can create anything from our imagination. Technically also with animation, we can achieve a lot more by creating a very visually immersive world around the story, which is harder to bring alive in live action, especially when creating a show like this.”
The ‘Bhoomi’ actor went on to say, “You can create a fantasy medium with animation which is why it’s very popular with kids. I learned this from my daughter. She literally feels that...

New Delhi, July 30 (Ians) Courts in India make a criminal swear by the Bhagavad Gita before he deposes in a case, or at least, that is what I have seen in films. The Gita, if one understands rightly, is the ultimate belief one can swear on to tell the truth. A criminal may still lie, but our judiciary and our films continue to repose faith in this holy book.
Since our film folk swear by the Gita, why won’t our Central Board Of Film Certification (Cbfc)? The Cbfc has passed the Hollywood film ‘Oppenheimer’ with a scene showing the lead pair indulging in sex while the male actor is shown reading from the ‘Bhagavad Gita’!
No, not Vatsyayana’s ‘Kama Sutra’, unless the Cbfc thought it is all the same!
I don’t know why the makers thought of doing this stunt, but, maybe, the Cbfc did figure it...

Mumbai, June 7 (Ians) The new trailer of the upcoming film ‘Adipurush’ was unveiled recently at Tirupati.
The trailer is 2 minutes and 24 seconds in length and opens with Saif Ali Khan’s character of Ravan abducting Kriti Sanon’s character of Janaki as Prabhas’s Ram challenges Ravan saying: “Aa raha hoon nyaay ke 2 pairon se anyay ke 10 sir kuchalne (I’m coming for you to battle out the injustice with the justice).”
It then presents a full blown saga of a battle. Raghav and the Vanar Sena embark on an extraordinary journey to bring back Janaki. The VFX however, comes across as a bit disappointing as the animated characters look far from real. The rotoscopy seems amateure and so does the rendering.
What does stand out in the trailer and builds the anticipation is the terrific background score by the music director duo Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara, who have...

‘Pushpa Impossible’ actress Garima Parihar said: “On this day, we get a chance to spend time with our family as we are not shooting. I love how everybody makes the effort to create effigies of Raavan. I love visiting melas and I love watching large effigies of Raavan, eating ladoos, badam halwa, and many more sweets.”
Explaining the importance of the festival, she said: “This festival signifies the power of good over evil. No matter what the situations are, always choose to be a good soul. I deeply believe in good deeds. If you have to fear somebody, fear God as he will never let you do anything bad.
