- Born in Australia in 1982, Christoffel grew up in Byron Bay and was mentored by Academy Award nominated director Rolf De Heer during the early stages of his career. His debut feature, Eraser Children (2009), had success on the festival circuit - winning Best Australian Film at both MUFF and FPFF.
