Only in Hollywood will one find a show about Supermen actors holding a group event at a pre-decided time, no matter how weird it may sound to those looking in from the outside. But the weirdness of Superman star, Sam Daly, and his extended DC family will have to wait because Henry Cavill has an appointment.

For the longest possible time, Henry Cavill had a terrible run-in with fans and critics when he fell off his tower shortly after the release of Justice League in 2017. The Witcher Seasons 2 and 3 aggravated the situation. Argylle almost closed the books on him forever. No one can pull off such a bad collection of horrible projects other than Nicolas Cage.

"Why would you allow yourself to feel that way?" Freestyle Digital Media has released an official trailer for an indie romantic comedy called Catching Up, marking the feature directorial debut of filmmaker Bill Crossland. This first premiered at the Heartland and New Orleans Film Festivals last year. Bill Crossland also stars in the film as a romantically inexperienced young man with muscular dystrophy named Frank who struggles to win the love of his able-bodied crush while posing as a boyfriend for his closeted best friend. Crossland looks to be telling a very personal story, while also trying to have some romcom fun as well. The film's cast includes Francesca Carpanini, Isabella Pisacane, Johnathan Fernandez, Sam Daly, Jared Michael Delaney, Caroline Duncan, and Lydia Meredith. His main love interest in this looks a lot like Rachel McAdams. This seems like a very charming, brutally honest take on love as a disabled person.

"She's a human, and you're a dog! You're not right for Ellie, dude." Freestyle Digital Media has unveiled an official trailer for an indie comedy titled Allan the Dog, about a hand puppet dog that acts like a real-life talking dog. We've seen an R-rated Muppets movie and a movie about a talking beaver hand puppet, so this seems like the next evolution in wacky hand puppet storytelling. Sam Daly stars as Matt, Allan's owner and "roommate", and Steven Wright (who also wrote the script) voices Allan the Dog. They're supposed to be different characters, not all the same. Their lives get all twisted when they both fall for the same girl. The cast includes Alison Haislip, Gwen Hollander, and Steven Weber. This sounds and looks as awkward and as quirky as expected, which is good and bad. Maybe there's some charm to this? Worth a look at least. Here's...

Normally it’s said, “the book is better than the movie”, however with DC Entertainment’s Justice League Flashpoint Paradox it’s the opposite, which seems to complement its story.
Based on the graphic novel Flashpoint by Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert; Barry Allen wakes up in a timeline similar to the one he calls home, but quickly discovers several startling differences. For starters: his mother is alive, Iris his wife is married to someone else, and he is without his abilities. While the Justice League doesn’t exist in this timeline; they are represented by different versions of themselves. In a world where villains are heroes and heroes are villains, the Flash will need to find help from unlikely “heroes” in order to restore the timeline, hopefully before the war between Aquaman and Wonder Woman destroys the world.

Interview conducted by and copyright Edward Gross Although Superman appears in an early sequence of the now available on Blu-ray/DVD/digital download animated film Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox in his classic form, he shows up again [Spoilers!!!!] in a time-altered world, emaciated and having been held a prisoner under a red sun lamp. It's through the efforts of the Flash, Batman and Cyborg that he is freed and given the opportunity to do what he does best — this despite all he's been through as a person. Particularly significant about this version of the character as well is the fact that he's voiced by actor Sam Daly, son of Tim who himself had started voicing the Man of Steel in the 1990s with Superman: The Animated Series. In an excerpt from an exclusive interview, Sam reflects on the experience of portraying this iconic character, a fact he and his father...

As you may know, there’s a new DC Animated movie coming out: Justice League: The FlashPoint Paradox, based on the FlashPoint crossover event of a few years ago that preceded DC’s New 52. What you may not have known is that Sam Daly is doing the voice of Superman, taking over the role from his dad Tim Daly, who voiced him in Superman: The Animated Series.
And what you certainly didn’t know is that this puts Sam into a very special league of his own…

Supermen Unite! For the first time ever four Supermen from 3 different entertainment mediums come together in a humorous five minute skit. Tim Daly (Superman: The Animated Series) proudly leads his son, Sam Daly, through the initiation process that all Supermen must go through in order to become a member of the "League of Supermen". How does one enter? Simple: A) You must have portrayed the Man of Steel in one form or another in the past. B) You do Not speak of Lois Lane. Written and Directed by Ben Shelton and featuring the talents of Brandon Routh, Dean Cain, Tim Daly, Sam Daly and a guest appearance by Andrea Romano; this skit is definitely worth a look. Check it out!

The first trailer for Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's animated DC comics film Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox is now available for you to watch. The story is based on Geoff Johns' graphic novel Flashpoint, and the story centers on the Flash who wakes up devoid of his super powers. It looks like it could be a decent movie. I'm sure we'll get a chance to check it out at Comic-Con this year.
When time travel allows a past wrong to be righted for Flash and his family, the event’s temporal ripples prove disastrous, creating a fractured, alternate reality where the Justice League never formed, and even Superman is nowhere to be found. Amidst a new world being ravaged by a fierce war between Wonder Woman’s Amazons and Aquaman’s Atlanteans, Flash must team with a grittier, more violent Batman and government agent Cyborg to restore the continuity of Flash’s original timeline.

This is the comic book event that either propelled DC Comics towards the New 52 paradigm or sent the company spinning off the rails, alienating the very core audience they sought to retain. Hey,At Least It Beats The Snowpocalypse!
Hello, all! I'm here in Southern California where it's beautiful and sunny outside! (Hi, Dennis, Ed and Snicks! How goes the Snowpocalypse?) At least I hear it's beautiful outside. I don't know for sure as I'm actually stuck inside the hotel scuttling from ballroom to ballroom like Gollum (and looking about as pasty). But instead of my "precious" being a golden ring, I'm after news about any gay/bi characters and other tidbits you might be interested in.
For instance, can you believe ****** was seen at a party **** with ***** ***** and ***** and they were all ******. I know! Shocking!
Show me the gay character! I want my gay character!
I've been here a week so far and have five more days to serve on my sentence before I'm released back into Brent's protective custody. So what are my thoughts this far? Funny you should ask!

Every week we pick the gays who we think have made the biggest splash in television (or pop culture in general) and leave it to you, the keepers of the flame, to decide who will be crowned Gay of the Week.
Last week's results had the juggernaut that is "Kish" mowing down the competition — including Adam Lambert. (That poor guy always seems to come in second.)
This week we got a little help in the nominating department from a few readers who wish to remain nameless. Fresh eyes brought us some interesting candidates for gay of the week, three of whom have never been nominated before!
This week's contenders:
Neil Patrick Harris Nph has had a great week overall. First his performance this week on How I Met Your Mother (wiith fellow out guest star Harvey Fierstein doing voice work), then via Twitter comes news he'll be directing an upcoming episode of his sitcom.

A family feud is coming to Thursday nights!
While Tim Daly stars on Private Practice, his son has just signed on for a recurring role on The Office.
Sam Daly debut on the December 10 episode of the NBC sitcom. He'll appear as Oscar’s new, younger boyfriend.
“He looks like Tim, except he has blonde hair,” said Oscar Martinez (Oscar) “He’s six foot tall and really nice.”
While nothing has been confirmed yet, Daly will likely appear on multiple episodes.
Martinez told TV Guide Magazine that it may take awhile before Oscar’s co-workers discover he's gone all cougar on them.
“I’m not sure if people at the office are going to find out about this right away," he said.
