- Maxwell Hamilton was born and raised in Manhattan Beach, California. After doing regional theater in high school, he decided to attend UCLA's Theater, Film, Television department as an acting major and global studies minor. After graduation in 2013, he worked in San Francisco and New York with indie theater company Rising Pheonix Rep and Rattlestick Playwrights Theater. He now lives in Los Angeles, working as an actor, director, producer and musician. His first feature "I Don't Feel At Home In This World Anymore" directed by Macon Blair, won the grand jury prize at Sundance Film Festival in 2017.
