With Adventure Time! proving to be a sensation for Kaboom! Comics, it was only a matter of time before they began adapting more of Cartoon Network’s high-calibre comedy into comic book format. Why it took this long for Regular Show to be made is another story, but as with most things, quality takes time. Good thing all the wit and hijinks translate perfectly in Regular Show #1, the debut issue starring everyone’s favourite racoon and blue-jay.
While Adventure Time! teaches us the power of being righteous and using our imagination, Regular Show showcases the power of being lazy. Yes, the heroes of Regular Show, Rigby the Racoon...

Deloitte strikes temporary deal with film studios and music labels to ensure HMV stocks new releases including Madagascar 3
Administrators of HMV have struck a temporary deal with film studios and music labels to ensure that new releases, such as the Bond film Skyfall and Madagascar 3, continue to flow to the group's stores, as the future of Britain's last major high-street music chain is thrashed out.
The fate of HMV rests largely in the hands of Hilco, a specialist investor in distressed retail groups, after it acquired secured debts from Royal Bank of Scotland, Lloyds Banking Group and other lenders. It acquired HMV's Canadian business in 2011 and is the most likely to emerge as owner of the brand in the UK.
Administrators from Deloitte are closing down branches to reduce HMV's estate from 220 stores to 150 in the next few weeks. They have also shut the HMV website.

Restructuring firm Hilco steps in to offer hope though Borders experience suggests it may just prolong the inevitable
Collapsed music and movies chain HMV could be saved after restructuring firm Hilco took over the retailer's debts from its lenders Lloyds and Royal Bank of Scotland.
It is the first step towards rescuing the iconic music and DVD business after it collapsed into administration last week under debts of £176m. Buying the debt gives Hilco effective control of the business and buys time for the administrators.
Details of the potential rescue came as the stores started to accept HMV gift vouchers again. The administrators caved in to pressure to reverse a previous decision that had made the tokens worthless.
Hilco, a restructuring specialist, is thought to have the support of music labels including Universal Music, Warner Music and Sony for any takeover, having already bought HMV Canada in 2011 for £2m.

High street chain will also pay proceeds from charity singles in full, after accountant Deloitte finishes review of business
The stricken entertainment chain HMV is accepting gift vouchers to pay for products after administrators reversed their original decision .
Accountant Deloitte, which took control of HMV last week, also moved to reassure charities owed money from the sale of charity releases – including the Hillsborough Justice Collective single – that they would be paid "in full as soon as possible".
Nick Edwards, joint administrator for HMV and its Fopp offshoot, said he was pleased to announce that, after the conclusion of an assessment of the business, stores would honour gift cards.
"I can also confirm that all money raised by HMV for various charities will be paid in full. We recognise that both of these matters have caused concern for individuals and organisations affected and are pleased to have reached a positive outcome.

HMV's joint administrators have confirmed that gift cards can be redeemed at stores in the chain from tomorrow (January 22). Deloitte said that it was able to honour the vouchers after a more positive assessment of HMV's financial position. The accountancy firm also said that proceeds raised by the entertainment retailer from charity releases, such as the Hillsborough Justice Collective single, will be paid in full as soon as possible. Joint Administrator Nick Edwards recognised that the gift cards and charity revenue issues have "caused concern" for both consumers and organisations since HMV slipped into administration last week.
