(March 30, 1924) He acted in Anton Chekhov's plays, "Uncle Vanya," and "The Cherry Orchard;" Gorky's play, "The Lower Depths;" Alexei Tolstoy's play, "Tsar Fyodor Ivanovitch," and an adaptation of Dostoyevsky's play, "The Brothers Karamazov," in a Moscow Art Theatre Repertory Company production at the Hanna Theatre in Cleveland, Ohio with Akim Tamiroff, Olga Knipper-Chekhov, and Maria Uspenskaya in the cast.
