‘Big Brother 25’s’ Jag on the moment he knew he was winning: ‘I sort of realized what was happening’
Suffice it to say, Jag Bains‘ run on “Big Brother 25” has rewritten the “Big Brother” annals. After becoming the first Sikh houseguest, he made history on Thursday’s finale by becoming the first Sikh winner with a 5-2 vote over his Minutemen ally Matt, the same person who used the Power of Invincibility to undo Jag’s 10-0 eviction in Week 4. That also makes Jag the first evicted the houseguest to return to the game and win the whole thing. And of course, there are the new single-season records he set along the way: the most Veto wins at seven and the most comp wins at 10. He set the last one during the finale when he won won Part 3 of the final Hoh, after which he stayed loyal to Matt, taking him to the final two over the path of least resistance of Bowie Jane, and told Matt that he would win.

Second verse, same as the first. Or seventh verse. To absolutely no one’s surprise, Jag won the final Veto of “Big Brother 25” on Friday. It’s his record-setting seventh Veto of the season, eclipsing the mark of six Michael Bruner set just last year, and his ninth comp win total, tying Michael and Janelle Pierzina.
Jag is obviously not going to use the Veto, so Felicia and Matt will remain on the block for Sunday’s live eviction. Now the question is: Will Jag actually cut Matt? He should if he wants to win and he’s spent the past week putting in the work with Bowie Jane to ensure she’d take him to final two over Matt. And of course, he also believes Felicia would be an easier final two opponent than Matt. But the Mafia has been rock solid the past week to the point of ostracizing Felicia and Cirie,...

Bowie Jane is now the only “Big Brother 25” houseguest who did not hit the block this season. Who would’ve thought?
With the accelerated schedule, Bowie made her nominations Thursday night. They were Felicia (duh) and Matt (also duh), the latter of whom hadn’t touched the block until now. Nominations don’t matter in final four since it all comes down to the Veto, but now Bowie has that trump card over Matt. While Felicia decided to cook dinner for them once again, the Mafia discussed nom options for show — for show because Jag and Bowie had already decided Matt would be going up. They hatched a plan for Jag and Matt to guess a number closest to the one she was thinking of — a number that Bowie and Jag had decided in advance. What minds.

As of Thursday night, there’s only one week left in Big Brother‘s 25th season, and I suspect I’m not the only one thinking, “Thank goodness!”
Although the recent domination tour of Matt and Jag is surely a thrill for Matt and Jag, it gets tiresome to watch any alliance steamroll its way to finale night, and Season 25 has been stuck in that all-too-predictable rut for several weeks now. Plus, if you keep up with Big Brother‘s live feeds at all, you know that the Mafia alliance — comprised of Matt, Jag and Bowie Jane — has been displaying...

‘Big Brother 25’ spoilers: The Mafia scares up more half-witted plans for Operation Pressure Cracker
There was nothing scary happening in the “Big Brother 25” house on Halloween. Except for how frighteningly bad Jag, Bowie and Matt are at jury management.
Tuesday kicked off sweetly with Felicia telling Cirie that she’s the best thing that has happened to her in the house. They cleared the air, both apologizing for having thrown each other under the bus throughout the game, and said they’re friends for life and hugged it out. These two been highly entertaining — they’ve bantered, argued, kayaked, were totally themselves and know at the end of the day it’s just a game.

Heading into the Week 13 Veto episode of “Big Brother 25,” Head of Household Matt Klotz had just nominated Cirie Fields and Felicia Cannon for eviction despite telling Cirie he would keep her safe. While things looked dire for the two houseguests nicknamed “Mama,” the Power of Veto competition could still save one of their games. So how did everything play out on Halloween night?

You will be shocked to learn that if you let a comp beast play in Hoh two weeks in a row on “Big Brother 25,” chances are they’re gonna win it.
Yup, Jag won Hoh again, so he’s going to be in power for two straight weeks. If he survives the double eviction, he can win Hoh for a third straight week. The fact that he was allowed to compete in Hoh after telling everyone he was the invisible Hoh is so unserious. The Hoh eligibility ought to have been conditional on him not revealing he was the invisible Hoh. Not to mention, Claire was forced to throw the next Hoh comp after anonymously overthrowing noms on Season 23.

It took a couple of days and two Vetoes, but Jag will do what he should’ve done on “Big Brother 25” after winning invisible Hoh: target Cory and America.
It all started on Saturday, which had two Veto comps in which everyone competed. The winner of the first one would sit out the second and would also get to use their Veto second. The winner of the second one would use theirs first. Jag won the first Veto, which was the spinning ropes comp, edging out Blue, who won the second one. Blue is obviously going to take herself off, so Jag has to renom someone else anyway. The initial plan — and what he’s told Americory — was that he would put up Matt and then immediately take him down with his Veto and put up Cirie.

“Big Brother 25’s” invisible Hoh twist would’ve been cool if any of these people could keep a secret and the winner actually did something with it.
Jag won Hoh, which was Bb Comics, with a time of 8:30. Not really fair to make it such a physical comp when the whole point of the week is to build paranoia with the invisibility twist. Jag is a terrible liar because Cirie has clocked that he won based on his behavior and told Felicia (though she would’ve clocked him even if he were a good liar). He has already told Matt and is thinking about telling Bowie, Cory and America too to build trust. Five bucks says within an hour of when they all wake up that the entire house will know. This twist would’ve been better, at least with this crew, if the Hoh were forced to keep their win a secret,...

Big Brother has taken its sweet, sweet time forming the jury of its 25th season. Evictions that mean nothing! A full week with no competitions! Seven jurors instead of nine! It’s been a journey, folks.
Thankfully, after a whopping 72 days (!), the CBS series has finally identified the first juror who will help crown the winner of Season 25 in a few weeks. But before we could find out whether Cirie, Felicia or potential backdoor nominee Cameron would become this week’s evictee, Big Brother took even more time to get to the eviction itself, instead wasting 30-plus minutes of Thursday...

Who had Bowie becoming the first female Hoh on “Big Brother 25” in seven weeks on their bingo card? Well, here we are.
It’s kind of fitting Bowie became Hoh on the same night Mecole was booted. Both had been, to borrow from Julie Chen Moonves, “low-key and invisible,” but Bowie had been casually gaming recently and building relationships with people. And now she has the power after the greatest math comp in “Bb” history. The answers of half an hour (initially) and 34 days to approximate one week will forever be iconic. Bowie has a lotta options for noms, but it sounds it’s going to be Cirie and Felicia for now.

Big Brother sent home its final pre-jury evictee on Thursday night… yet most of the episode focused on a houseguest who wasn’t even on the nomination block.
I’m referring, of course, to Cory, who was majorly targeted by Felicia’s veto meeting speech on Tuesday. Ultimately, Cameron chose not to use the Power of Veto, leaving Felicia and Mecole as the week’s nominees. But even after Cory evaded the block, all eyes remained on him and America, particularly when America confronted Felicia in front of the entire house and asserted that Felicia was the one to propose...

After winning Head of Household for the third time on “Big Brother 25,” Cameron Hardin nominated Felicia Cannon and Mecole Hayes for eviction. He claimed that Felicia was his main target because she likely wouldn’t vote for him to win the game if she was in the jury house, and this week’s eliminee would be the last pre-jury boot. Felicia and Mecole still had a chance to save themselves with the Power of Veto challenge, so how did it all play out on Tuesday night?

The September 21 episode of “Big Brother 25” will feature an exciting double eviction, and Gold Derby users think they know who’s going home first. As of this writing, Cameron Hardin has leading 3/10 odds to be evicted over America Lopez, who’s down at 37/1 odds. This marks Cameron’s fourth week on the block, but he’s managed to avoid being kicked out so far. Do you agree with our users’ Week 7 predictions? There’s still time to make your picks before our predictions center closes at 5:00 p.m. Pt on Thursday.
Following the first eviction, a live Head of Household competition will take place in which a new player will earn the power to nominate two people for eviction. Our readers predict Cory Wurtenberger (53/20 odds) will win that all-important Hoh challenge. That will be followed by a Veto competition, and Matt Klotz (29/20 odds) has the highest chances of winning that advantage,...

Heading into the Week 7 Veto episode of “Big Brother 25,” repeat Head of Household Jared Fields had just nominated Cory Wurtenberger and America Lopez for eviction. The previous week, the two lovebirds had turned the tables on the son-mother duo of Jared and Cirie Fields by going after Izzy Gleicher instead of Felicia Cannon. If the Power of Veto is used to save either Cory or America, Jared has suggested that Cameron Hardin might be his backdoor plan. So how did it all play out?

We’re midway into Week 7 on “Big Brother 25,” with repeat Head of Household Jared Fields priming a possible backdoor of Cameron Hardin while using Cory Wurtenberger and America Lopez as the initial (pawn) nominees for eviction. Last week, the game was flipped on its head for the son-mother duo of Jared and Cirie Fields when America initiated a big move against them by convincing Cory to work to get the house to vote out their closest ally Izzy Gleicher.
Will the Power of Veto comp fall in favor of Jared’s backdoor plan? And if so, what will come of the fractured friendship between Cory and Jared? The chaos won’t end soon as Julie Chen Moonves let us in on this week’s schedule that culminates in a double eviction on Thursday, September 21.

After a turbulent week last week on “Big Brother 25,” this one ought to be a lot more straightforward, though you never know with this group. But they can finally do what they’ve passed up multiple times: evict Cameron.
Jag won Veto on Saturday, which means he will use it on either Cory or America (likely the former) on Monday and Jared can execute his Cam backdoor plan. The plan was hardly a secret and the tension before Veto was hilarious. Everyone was worried Cam would get picked. Cam pushed for America to pick him for Houseguest’s Choice, but his chip was drawn anyway (after a redraw had to be done because Jag’s chip was drawn after Cory chose him for Houseguest’s Choice). Before the Veto started, Cirie told Jared to put her up as the renom in case Cam wins and uses it. This came after Blue,...

When “Big Brother” fans talk about power shifts, they don’t mean the same two people trading off, but that’s exactly what we have here on “Big Brother 25.” Jared won Hoh, which means it’s the second straight time he’s succeeded Cameron in the position. One month of Cameron and Jared in power. What did everyone do to deserve this?
It was a very quick wall comp, finishing in just 45 minutes, two minutes faster than last year’s. It’s not only surprising it was that short given all the drama that happened Thursday before the live show. Since Cirie sensed something was afoot with the vote, Jared bluffed to Matt, claiming that Jag had told him the vote has flipped and Izzy was leaving. Cameron’s previous turn as Big Brother‘s Head of Household was ultimately a waste, thanks to the Power of Invincibility. So, this time around, he’s making sure it counts.
After winning last week’s Hoh competition to a hilariously muted reaction from the others, Cameron has successfully planted seeds of chaos in the house, namely by nominating Izzy and Felicia — two of this season’s three puppet masters — for eviction. Since then, secrets have been spilled, Felicia has actually spilled during the topsy-turvy Power of Veto competition, and Cameron has been watching with glee while it all unfolds.

Regardless of what you think of Cameron on “Big Brother 25,” you gotta hand it to him for not just blindsiding the house but the audience with his nominations. After telling everyone he was going to put up Blue and Jag, he nominated/didn’t pie Izzy and Felicia. It’s all part of a grander plan, but that plan hit a snag on Saturday.
Jared won the Veto — or was allowed it keep it, rather. It was the prizes and punishments comp and Matt actually won the comp, but he let Jared keep the Veto while he has to hang out with a cardboard cutout of Josh Duhamel for a week. Just another comp Jared won by default! After Veto, Cam filled Jared in on Step 4 of his plan: He wants Felicia to come down and Cirie to go up to scare her and said that his target is Izzy.

Well, that didn’t go as planned on “Big Brother 25.” First they couldn’t get Cameron out this week and now he’s the new Hoh and no one could even fake excitement over it. Maybe, just maybe they should’ve evicted him when they had the chance (multiple times). Somewhere Hisam is laughing.
So what are Cam’s plans? He can really shake up the house this week and it appears he has a backdoor in mind. He’s kept his plans close to the chest — understandable since he lost his closest ally and the house wants him out — but his initial noms will likely be Blue and Jag.

Big Brother always reminds us to expect the unexpected, and there’s nothing more unexpected than two straight weeks of potentially meaningless gameplay.
First, Cameron’s entire Head of Household reign was rendered moot when Matt opted to use the Power of Invincibility last week, saving Jag from eviction and ensuring that no one would leave the house. But heading into this week’s eviction, the effort to save Jag appeared to have been wasted, as he found himself right back on the nomination block and poised to walk out the door for real.

Blue Kim is not dealing well with being on the block on “Big Brother 25.” “I’m for sure pissed off,” she declared in the Diary Room at the end of Sunday’s episode after being nominated for eviction by Head of Household Cameron Hardin. “I hope I win Veto and then I hope I get off the block and then I hope that I win Hoh so I can be the one that kicks your ass back home,” she said in reference to Cameron. Blue then blew kisses as she sweetly cooed, “Bye!”
Cameron decided to nominate Blue and Jag Bains because they’re “dangerous loose ends” from the former Handful alliance whom he no longer trusted. Felicia nominated Jag and Cameron as expected on Friday with the goal to backdoor Hisam, who was not picked to play Veto. Jag won the Veto on Saturday, so it will be used for the first time this season. Everything was going according to plan and they just have stay the course, but that’s never easy with this crew — or specifically with Cirie and Izzy.
Hours after the Veto, Cirie and Izzy started spiraling again and began to undo the backdoor plan because they thought taking out a shield like Hisam would give an edge to the other side. They brought it to Felicia and they began shifting the target to Red, Matt (whom Hisam was pushing as the renom), Mecole, Bowie and America. Yes, let...

CBS’s Big Brother Season 25 Week 3 shows the aftermath of the last eviction. Reilly Smedley is officially out, and a new Head of Household will take the reigns. Will Hisam Goueli continue his winning streak, or will a new houseguest show dominance? Here are Big Brother Season 25 Week 3 spoilers.
[Spoiler alert: Big Brother Season 25 Week 3 spoilers ahead.]
‘Big Brother’ Season 25 Week 3 spoilers: Who becomes Head of Household?
Big Brother Season 25 Week 3 spoilers are here, and here’s what to know about the Head of Household winner.
The Head of Household winner: Felicia Cannon
This could easily spell doom for Hisam Goueli. Hisam won the first two Power of Vetos and the second Head of Household, and his reign over the house didn’t sit well with many of the houseguests. In week 2, he made it known that he wanted Reilly Smedley out of the game — and because of his power and alliances,...

Hisam is in his comp beast era with a serious case of HOHitis. As expected, he nominated Reilly and Cameron for eviction on “Big Brother 25,” with his target being Reilly. On Saturday — or early Sunday — he won his second Veto of the season.
That makes it three wins and two second place finishes for Hisam this season. If you don’t count the move-in comp, he’s won three of the four Hoh and Veto comps so far. This is also the third straight year that the same person has won the first two Veto comps of the season. He’s painting a huge target on his back and is not helping matters with his drill sergeant approach to his Hoh and endless spiels about integrity and trust. He led a Professors meeting on Sunday to celebrate their “win” for the week, but it was mostly a lecture on how...

Three houseguests remain on Big Brother‘s 24th season… but that 750,000 check can only be made out to one of them.
Monte Taylor, Taylor Hale and Matthew “Turner” Turner have successfully schemed their way to this season’s long-awaited finale, airing Sunday at 8/7c on CBS. And this particular trio is one of the show’s most stacked Final Threes in recent memory: No one here is a floater or perpetual competition dud, dragged along by stronger players to ensure an easy win on finale night. Rather, Monte, Taylor and Turner all have compelling cases they could make to the jury on Sunday,...

Ever since Michael blew up Brittany Hoopes‘ game on his way out the door two weeks ago on “Big Brother 24,” she has been on the house’s hit list. She survived last week by winning the Veto, but couldn’t win the most important Veto of the season at final four. Despite a valiant campaign and attempts by Taylor as well, Monte cast the sole vote to evict her on Thursday’s episode, a decision the hypnotherapist says was the right call for his game since she was not going to take him to the final two.
But would Brittany have evicted Monte had she won the Veto? Find out below.
Gold Derby: If you had won the Veto, who would you have evicted and why?
Brittany: Ooh, that one day off. If I had gotten that one day and won this Veto, I would’ve evicted Turner. I mean,...

Heading into the 11th eviction episode of “Big Brother 24,” Veto winner Monte Taylor held all the power to decide who would join him and Head of Household Taylor Hale in the final three. Following the eviction of Alyssa Snider on “Big Brother 24,” only four players remained in the running to win the 750,000 grand prize: Taylor Hale, Brittany Hoopes, Monte Taylor and Matthew “Turner” Turner. Taylor proved her worth by winning the Head of Household competition centered around Julie Chen Moonves‘ wardrobe, which secured her spot in the Top 3. But remember, no matter who she nominated for eviction, this week would all come down to the Veto winner, as that person had the power to determine which two houseguests would be sitting on the block come eviction night. So how’d it all play out? Let’s go!

Taylor really went from possible first evictee to final three on “Big Brother 24.” An icon. With the Veto being included on Sunday’s episode, things were accelerated and Taylor made her nominations shortly after Thursday’s live eviction. She put up Turner and Brittany, but we all know that all that matters is Veto to control the vote.
All the drama came, of course, courtesy of Brittany. She expectedly tried to pin her vote to evict Taylor on Turner, but not only is she a terrible liar but obviously Turner, Taylor and Monte have an alliance and Taylor and Monte know the truth. Turner confronted Brittany about it, telling her he gets it game-wise but it was “slimy” of her to leverage his friendship with Alyssa to try to flip him to evict Taylor and now attempt to blame her vote on him. Brittany just said, “Thanks for your comments” and walked away.

Monte‘s Hoh had not one but two wrenches thrown in this weekend on “Big Brother 24.” First, he couldn’t play in the Veto and then his target, Brittany, won the Veto.
The comp occurred at 5 a.m. on Saturday and the houseguests had a small window to get downstairs in time and Monte didn’t make it. After Brittany won, she apparently shouted, “This is for you, Michael!” which is hilarious since she’d been inconsolable about Michael throwing her under the bus in his speech. But maybe his Veto magic rubbed off on her.
With Brittany coming off the block and Monte’s plan ruined, he will nominate Taylor in her place. Monte told Turner he would not put him up and if there’s a tie, he would evict Alyssa. He asked Turner if he was Ok with that, to which he said yes, though Turner later...

After a blindsided Ameerah Jones left the “Big Brother 24” house on Thursday, the remaining eligible players all went to the backyard to compete in the next Head of Household competition. The theme was “The Invitation,” Sony’s upcoming horror film, and the contestants had to search for rare red cards inside hundreds of envelopes. Only the eight people who found the red invitations would be invited to compete in the Hoh comp. So how’d it all play out on Sunday night?

The Leftovers served up a blindside on Thursday’s “Big Brother 24” when Ameerah Jones was evicted 7-4, much to the shock of her allies, who had no idea that the underdogs had banded together to oust who they had perceived to be the mastermind who was running the house. Earlier in the week, Ameerah was sure she had the votes to stay, but she was ultimately not completely stunned that she was chatting with Julie Chen Moonves on Thursday. We caught up with Ameerah to find out what tipped her off, what she whispered to Jasmine and more.
Gold Derby: What did you whisper to Jasmine as you were walking out the door?
Ameerah: I wish I was whispering something a lot more interesting, but literally all I said was, “Can you grab my heels for me that I left in the back?” [Laughs] It was just like a last-minute wrap-up.

Okay, it’s late…this blog is going to be turned in late. I can’t stop watching Sho2 and this Crazy endurance competition. These three are troopers, to say the least. Natalie’s almost fallen twice (as of 10:00 Pm Pt), but they’re all still hanging in. Okay, by the time you read this, we’ll all know the end result…but, I’m dying to know how this turns out! Okay, as I watch, I’ll try to focus. First off, Congratulations to Natalie and Jason on their engagement. At the end of the day, Big Brother is just a game, but this was huge. Natalie, whatever happens in the Big Brother house this week, all of us at Big Brother wish you both all the joy and happiness that life has to offer. Don’t be haters, viewers, this is real life and we should all embrace this event.
