- Since 2014, he has co-hosted a podcast called "The Arkham Sessions," which analyzes every episode of "Batman: The Animated Series" through the eyes of a clinical psychologist, Dr. Andrea Letamendi. The podcast's goal is to use the animated series to spread awareness of mental health and to destigmatize mental illness.
- The menu designer responsible for the menus of the "Parker Lewis Can't Lose" Season 1&2 DVDs named the mustard seen in the fridge "Ward's Mustard" after Brian Ward, who produced the set for Shout! Factory.
- Throughout high school and his freshman year at Appalachian State University, Brian was a defensive back on his school football teams. In 1995, while he was a red shirt freshman, Appalachian State went undefeated in the Southern Conference, making them the first team in the conference's history to accomplish this feat. Though he finished the season practicing with the team, a severe back injury during practice eventually ended Brian's football career, ultimately prompting him to return to his first love--acting--and join the Theatre & Dance Department at App State.
