I’m not trying to put down other games I have played recently, but it’s hard to think of the last one that challenged me. I don’t mean that in regards to difficulty, because lord knows plenty of titles have done that. Rather, I’m struggling to think of something that has truly provided a thought-provoking experience. At the very least, I can’t think of a game that has challenged my way of thinking quite like The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition did. Developed by Croteam (Serious Sam), the title, which comes to the PlayStation 4 following its PC release last year, gave me a major mental workout, while also making me question some long-held beliefs.

Fans of Croteam’s first-person puzzle game, The Talos Principle, will soon have a reason to revisit the well-received title.
The Serious Sam developer announced that the game’s add-on content, Road to Gehenna, will be released on July 23 via Steam. The downloadable expansion will feature a new playable character in the form of Elohim’s messenger Uriel.
The same writing crew of Tom Jubert and Jonas Kyratzes have returned to pen the expansion’s story, which is spread out through four chapters and is said to help flesh out the world of The Talos Principle, which originally released in December of 2014 as a PC exclusive.
While the price for Road to Gehenna has not yet been announced, we did get Publisher Devolver Digital’s fictional, yet hilarious, CFO Fork Parker’s take on the upcoming Dlc:

Publisher Devolver Digital has announced plans to bring an expansion to acclaimed first-person puzzle title, The Talos Principle.
Entitled Road to Gehenna, the add-on will release this spring and introduce players to Uriel, Elohim’s messenger, who is tasked with exploring a strange and mysterious world riddled with puzzles to solve and secrets to uncover. It includes four episodes in all, which will contain a host of never-before-seen characters as well.
According to Co-Writer Tom Jubert, who is a member of Croteam’s humble developing team, returning to the wonderful world of The Talos Principle was a no brainer, as the creative team had a host of new ideas vying to leap from the drawing board.
“We wanted to revisit the world of The Talos Principle and deliver new characters and a new world with its own history and culture. With Road to Gehenna we have created an all-new narrative...

The space-based puzzle platformer is from Facepalm Games, utilizing clay models for the adventures of an explorer who is able to clone himself to help solve the mysteries of his spooky new environment.
Featuring narrative design by "Ftl" writer Tom Jubert, Facepalm has namechecked "2001: A Space Odyssey" and "Solaris" as points of inspiration for this atmospheric, award-winning adventure.
Facepalm dated the game for May 30 on Steam for the PC and Mac, and it's definitely one I'm going to want to check out.
