Angelina Jolie was glowing as she attended the Light After Darkness: Memory, Resilience and Renewal in Cambodia discussion at the Asia Society in NYC on Thursday. The actress stepped out in a slinky navy gown and velvet robe as she made her way into the event, where she spoke on a panel with activist and First They Killed My Father author Loung Ung. It's been a whirlwind year for Angelina, who has traveled the globe with her and Brad Pitt's six children while promoting her Netflix film based on Loung Ung's book. Most recently, she gave an impassioned speech at THR's Women in Entertainment luncheon and honored those who "refuse to be intimidated" and who "are fighting so that others may one day have the freedoms we now have." Heber Springs, Ark. — Mindy McCready threatened suicide after losing custody of her sons earlier this month, yet she was allowed to leave a court-ordered drug rehabilitation program just days before she apparently killed herself at her Arkansas home, her ex-boyfriend said Monday.
Billy McKnight, who was in a long, stormy relationship with McCready and is the father of her oldest child, Zander, said the 37-year-old mother of two stayed in the substance abuse treatment center for about 18 hours before she was allowed to walk free.
McCready died Sunday at her home in Heber Springs, a vacation community about 65 miles north of Little Rock. She was found dead on the front porch, where her longtime boyfriend, musician David Wilson, died last month of a gunshot wound to the head. Authorities are investigating both deaths as suicides but haven't determined an official cause of death.

You know those actors and actresses that show up in all kinds of different movies? Yea, they’re pretty awesome. There aren’t too many of them out there, and you may not know all them by name but I’m sure you’ve watched something where they star. Mostly the reason you don’t is because they either haven’t had a huge breakout role yet, or they usually play big roles in big movies that feature more recognisable actors or actresses.
I’ve narrowed down a list of 5 (as is my thing, ya know…) who have made a huge contribution to the world of film. Maybe this will help you recognize them (as I’m sure you will). Maybe you’ll know who all of them are (good job by the way). Maybe you will discover them for the first time.

Last week, Justin Timberlake was spotted on crutches after sustaining an injury on the set of his sci-fi thriller "Now." And now, more details are emerging about what happened to the singer/actor when he attempted to do his own stunts on the set of the Amanda Seyfried and Olivia Wilde co-starring flick.
Sources say they "heard a pop" in Timberlake's leg, and E! News confirmed that Timberlake's injury has temporarily shut down production on the film. A rep for the studio said in a statement, "Justin Timberlake sustained a muscle injury to his calf on the set of Andrew Niccol's thriller 'Now.' Production has taken a brief hiatus and will resume shortly."
A set source told the website that the shutdown should last about two weeks.

The second week of No Ordinary Family served to show us how an ordinary episode of this so-called “family drama” will work: By using each of its mysteriously super-powered characters to explore aspects of a single theme suggested by its premise. Last night: Cheating! Is it ever permissible to break the rules, even for the sake of your loved ones or for the common good, and even when you possess abilities that make you special and set you apart from the typical self-centered, self-entitled schmo? Let’s take a character-by-character look at how the episode tackled the question:

What's next for Justin Timberlake?
As box-office analysts predicted, "The Social Network" opened at #1 over the weekend, kicking the movie's awards-season buzz into high gear and setting a slew of new projects at the feet of the film's stars. For Justin Timberlake — he plays Napster founder Sean Parker — the success of the social-networking flick seems to have given him just another reason to sideline his pop-music career in favor of making movies.
Timberlake has been nimbly dodging all of the "When are you making a new record?" questions and he recently told Entertainment Weekly he's not sure when — or if — he'll return to music.
"I never stop making music," he told the magazine.

New York — According to Ludacris, there's just too much testosterone in hip-hop.
So with his forthcoming Battle of the Sexes album, the Atlanta rapper decided to inject what he felt was a much-needed dose of femininity into the discussion.
"It's such a male-dominated industry that I feel like females need more of a voice, so we wanted to hear more of what the hell they had to say," Luda told MTV News about the album concept. "With that being said, I went out and got women from the past, the present and the future — everyone from Lil Kim, Eve, Trina, Nicki Minaj. I got records where I'm talking about women ... and where women are talking back to me.

Amy Sussman/Getty While moderating the 2008 Presidential Debate in Austin for CNN, Campbell Brown was the very definition of calm, cool and collected. “It was a lifetime dream for me coming true,” the 41-year-old television journalist recently noted during an appearance on Julie Menin’s Give and Take talk show. Little did Campbell know, however, that just hours after the debate she would suffer her first real meltdown of new motherhood.
Having welcomed her first child two months before, Campbell had been shipping her breastmilk back to New York — but disaster was about to strike. “There was a snowstorm or something and the FedEx flight was delayed. The milk didn’t make it and my husband had to give the baby a bottle of formula,” she recalls. “I was crying, literally, in the airport.”
