The Orchard has acquired the North American rights to Eat, which tells the story of “an aspiring actress with a new kind of eating disorder: one that has her chewing on her own flesh as her life crumbles around her.”
The film is scheduled for release November 18th on digital stores including Amazon, Google Play, iTunes, Vudu nand Xbox Movies.
Jimmy Weber wrote and directed the pic, which played at Sitges Film Festival last month.
Meggie Maddock, Ali Frances, Jeremy Make, and Dakota Pike star in this grisly effort which marks the latest release under The Orchard's partnership with ShockTillYouDrop.com

This is such a sad story. Former ‘Bachelor winner’ Shayne Lamas and her husband Nik Richie are currently coping with the loss of their 16-week-old unborn baby. After Shayne suffered from a pregnancy complication, the couple were still able to hold and name their baby before saying goodbye.

After suffering a devastating miscarriage back on February 10th, Shayne Lamas suffered an upsetting setback on Valentine's Day and is still in the intensive care unit in the hospital.
Updating concerned fans, her husband Nik Richie wrote on TabRag, "I’m still working from the ICU. This has been the toughest week of my life, but my love for Shayne Lamas has grown tremendously. My wife is a true fighter. Her heart gave out on Valentine’s Day and we had to start the rehabilitation process all over again."
