Noel Clarke’s former agent, Gary O’Sullivan, has set up his own talent management firm, Variety can exclusively reveal. The firm, Accelerate Management, was launched last month.
O’Sullivan previously worked at 42 Management & Production, where he repped Clarke among other high-profile actors, including Emily Beecham (“The Pursuit of Love”) and Tom Felton (“Harry Potter”). O’Sullivan parted ways with 42 last month, though a reason for his departure was not provided at the time.
His was the second high-profile exit from 42 in the wake of numerous allegations of bullying and sexual harassment levelled against O’Sullivan’s former client, Noel Clarke.
Clarke, who denies all the allegations against him, was dropped from 42 within a day of The Guardian publishing a lengthy article on April 29, alleging dozens of incidents of sexual misconduct perpetrated by the actor and director. There is no suggestion O’Sullivan was aware of the allegations against Clarke before they were published.

Noel Clarke’s former agent Gary O’Sullivan has been abruptly let go from UK management firm 42.
The company split with Clarke in recent weeks in light of a Guardian exposé alleging multiple instances of misconduct by the Brit actor. Now, Clarke’s longtime rep has also been shown the door.
A spokesperson for the company confirmed: “Gary O’Sullivan is no longer employed by 42 M&p.”
The exact reason for the termination has not been disclosed. O’Sullivan only joined the firm last year from Troika.
The veteran rep was an agent and partner at Troika for 13 years and previously worked in casting with well-known UK casting directors John and Ros Hubbard, whom he also represents. His hire by 42 was seen as a coup.
He brought with him clients including Cannes Best Actress winner Emily Beecham, BAFTA and Olivier winner Clarke, Golden Globe nominee Colm Meaney, BAFTA winner Rebecca Front,...

That’s A Wrap
Unprecedented shoot: Universal and co wrapped their $165M blockbuster Jurassic World: Dominion this week; back in July the film became the first major studio production to resume shooting in the UK during the pandemic.
