Hulu’s official trailer for High Hopes introduces the central players of this unscripted series set in the cannabis industry. The six-episode season premieres, of course, on 4/20, and was executive produced by Jimmel Kimmel.
“High Hopes is a workplace reality series following Belarus-born brothers Slava and Mishka, and their stoned crew through the trials and tribulations of taking their cannabis business to new heights,” reads Hulu’s synopsis. “As one of the oldest cannabis dispensaries in Hollywood, Mmd attracts a wild mix of weed-loving customers and is a home away from home for their Og employees who work hard and smoke harder! This season builds to their biggest day of the year—4.20—as the gang attempts to expand nationwide and release their own top-shelf cannabis brand. Will they find what they’re looking for or will their hopes go up in smoke?”

Hulu has announced a very appropriate April 20 release date for a new unscripted series set in a Los Angeles marijuana dispensary that hails from executive producer Jimmy Kimmel.
High Hopes is a six-episode series described as a workplace reality series following brothers Slava and Mishka as they try to take their marijuana business to new heights with the help of a motley crue of red-eyed staffers.
The stoner siblings operate Mmd, which is one of the oldest marijuana dispensaries in Hollywood, but they’re trying to grow the business beyond its swanky storefront, as they want to expand nationwide as well as launch their own top-shelf line of cannabis products.
Kimmel partnered with ITV America to document all the fun — and the chaos — in the run-up to the dispensary’s biggest day of the year — 4/20. The talk show host executive produced High Hopes under his production company Kimmelot alongside Kimmelot president Scott Lonker,...

Oscars host Jimmy Kimmel is one of the executive producers on “The Prank Panel,” which airs this summer. On the show, everyday people pitch pranks targeting family members, friends and co-workers to the prankster panel — Knoxville, Andre and Sidibe. They then help plot the schemes, and serve as mentors and saboteurs as the pranks are carried out (and with the help of celebrity guest stars).

The 1986 World Series-winning run by the New York Mets will get multi-part documentary treatment by ESPN in a project under the 30 for 30 banner whose executive producers include Jimmy Kimmel.
ESPN Films said Thursday the series would chronicle the team’s exploits on and off the field. In the Series, the Boston Red Sox were one strike away from victory before a two-out rally and a ground ball hit by Mookie Wilson slipped through the legs of Red Sox first baseman Bill Buckner. (you can watch it below)
Executive produced by Kimmel and Rober, Revenge Of the Nerd will follow a similar premise. Veteran CAA agent Scott Lonker has been named president of Kimmelot, the new media entity created by Jimmy Kimmel and Wheelhouse Entertainment CEO Brent Montgomery.
“I have had the dream job at CAA – not just because of our talented, maverick clients, but also because of the incredible team of friends who I’ve been in the trenches with from the beginning,” said Lonker in a statement. “Only an opportunity of this magnitude, and working closely and directly on creative with the likes of Jimmy and Brent – could have propelled this change. CAA TV packaging agent Scott Lonker has been tapped by Jimmy Kimmel to run his recently launched media production company Kimmelot, the company announced on Monday.
Launched last fall and described as Kimmel’s “creative lab,” Kimmelot creates content in the unscripted, scripted, digital, app/mobile-based realms, with initial projects focused on comedy. Lonker will step down from his role at CAA to serve as president of the Los Angeles-based media company, which operates under Brent Montgomery’s Wheelhouse Entertainment.
“I could not be more excited. Scott is smart, creative, experienced and well-liked and, while the fact that he decided to leave a great job at CAA to run Kimmelot does make me question his instincts, I’m sure it will all work out fine,” Kimmel said in a statement.

CAA has hired A&E VP Development Scott Lonker to be an agent in the NY alternative TV department. Here's what's interesting: Lonker used to be a William Morris agent. And good friends with Jon Rosen, who runs East Coast TV for Wme, where he's a board member. Word is that CAA "overpaid" to snag the well-liked Lonker. "That is the common theme there," my insider says. Eli Frankel, the former Svp of Magical Elves, which produces all those unscripted shows like Top Chef, has fired CAA and hired Wme. Frankel is currently under an overall deal at Lionsgate TV (also a Wme client).

Who said only chicks like the Kardashians were the only ones to have a big sibling fight on national television? Corey Haim and Corey Feldman, though not brothers in real life, have considered themselves siblings since they became friends when they were child stars trying to make it big in the entertainment industry. Their friendship has come a long way, spawning a reality show following their lives on A&E’s The Two Coreys. However, as the debut season of the reality series came to a close, the two got into a conflict that neither of them could resolve on their own.
Earlier this year, we reported that the two are going to come back for a second season of the show despite the fragile state of their friendship. Moreover, season 2 of the series will deal with these conflicts and try to rekindle the brotherhood as they journey on in life together.
