Coronation Street star Helen Worth has called for the release of two dolphins who are kept in a small Turkish swimming pool for the entertainment of British tourists. The actress, best known for her role as Weatherfield's Gail McIntyre, paid a visit to the resort of Hisarönü to see the animals - named Tom and Misha - after their living conditions were exposed in a newspaper. Tom and Misha are thought to have been brought to Hisarönü from the small coastal town of Kas, which is a four-hour drive away. Their owner Aleksandr Kuznetsov reportedly keeps them in a 11 by 22-metre pool in the hope that visitors will pay £50 to swim with them.
