- On June 8, 2006, at the road route Kiev-Nikolayev, Nastya (age 19) was in a car crash along with her then-boyfriend Vladimir Dyatlov (age 23) and his parents and two younger sisters, Maria (age 15) and Sophia (age 10). Vladimir's father died on the way to the emergency room, his mother was taken to Kiev's hospital, where she died, his younger sister Maria died 9 days later. Nasta, Vladimir and Sophia were alive. Vladimir and Sofia, in contrast to the Nastya, were quickly on the mend. Nastya was in hospital for a 3 months: she suffered a strong concussion and injury of her left leg. Because of the strong concussion, she still often suffers migraine. After the acident, Nastya wrote the song "You're gone.".
- Her father was Aleksey Iosifovich Zhmur (May 16, 1939 - January 25, 2021), who in his youth was the captain of the Dynamo volleyball team, and later became the concert director of the Veryovka Ukrainian Folk Choir. Her mother is Lidia Petrovna Kamenskikh (b. November 6, 1955) is a singer of the the Veryovka Ukrainian Folk Choir.
- Her godmother is Alla Kudlay (b. 1954), a Soviet and Ukrainian singer, Honored Artist of Ukraine (1997).
- She speaks Ukrainian, Russian, English, Italian, and Spanish.
