Kurt Wagner got a chance to interview Alain Huffman and Julia Benson about the end of Stargate Universe. The two of them express dismay that the series had to end without a proper conclusion, feeling the fanbase deserved a series finale if not another season. Despite the unfortunate cancellation, they feel they had a good two seasons. The cast still keeps in touch even though they’ve all moved on to different projects.
Benson mentions that she’s doing a Syfy movie called Earth’s Final Hours. She and her husband are working on a half-hour comedy pilot for BBC. They’ll decide which of the many BBCs the show will air once the pilot is ready to be shopped around. Apparently, the two of them have a lot of great ideas and always have something they are working on. Sounds like they make a great couple creatively.

We start the Top 7. You finish the Top 10.
In honor of Marvel’s upcoming comic book legend Thor making his way to the big screen on May 6, I’d like to take a look at the heroes, heroines, and even the bad guys that haven’t gotten the silver screen treatment.
Thor – Scorecard Review
Thor – interview with Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Hopkins and more
That’s right folks, there are more people in the Marvel Universe than Spiderman, Daredevil, Elektra, X-Men, and the Punisher. For that very reason we dedicated this week’s Top 7 to the comic book nerds of Tsr, although I was beginning to have the sneaking suspicion that I was the only one around.
Here are the rules of the game. First and foremost, anyone is fair game. Man, woman, or mutant. Good or bad. Secondly, this list is dedicated to those that haven’t had their own movie.

Chicago – When “Thor” hits theaters this Friday, it will be 22nd Marvel Comics movie to make it to the big-screen since “Blade” rebooted Marvel’s box office potential back in 1998. There have been more Marvel movies if you count such Marvel-owned properties as “Men in Black” or “Kick-Ass” (or if you count the cheesy straight-to-vhs Marvel movies of the 80s and 90s), but “Blade” was the first “modern” Marvel superhero flick. Since it debuted, Marvel has been increasingly aggressive in bringing its superheroes to the big screen. This summer gives us three new entries into the Marvel canon – “Thor”, “Captain America”, and “X-Men: First Class” – and with “The Avengers” and the “Spider-Man” reboot currently filming, the Marvel movie library will be 30, 40, heck, 50-movies strong any day now.
In fact, there are so many Marvel superhero films in existence now, it’s practically its own genre – the Marvel Comics Movie. And,...

With First Class set to introduce audiences to a new generation of mutants, we ask who’d make the cut for the dream X-Men team?
When Professor Charles Xavier first established a team of ragtag mutants, there were only five of them to worry about: Cyclops, Jean Grey/Marvel Girl, Angel, Beast and Iceman. In the beginning, it was easy to keep up with them, but that was in 1963 and, over the decades, times have changed.
As more and more characters have been introduced, the game of 'who's who?' has become increasingly difficult. There are literally hundreds of heroes (and villains) who feature regularly, as well as a plethora of secondary characters, who only appear now and then. And that's before you even consider those characters we've only come to know through alternate realities and multiple timelines.
And even if you only know the X-Men because of Fox's foray into X-movies,...

In 1964, Slim Williamson bought tiny Nashville-based indie label Chart Records for $350, and for the next 14 years, Chart released records by novelty acts like Jim Nesbitt and Junior Samples and young talent like Lynn Anderson and Billy “Crash” Craddock, in addition to hundreds of here-and-gone singles and albums by country and rock artists that Williamson and his son Cliff (often wrongly) had pegged for success. For the LP Invariable Heartache, Lambchop frontman Kurt Wagner joins alt-country singer Cortney Tidwell—daughter of Chet Williamson and troubled Chart star Connie Eaton—to take a trip through the Chart catalogue, from ...

Remember those "X-Men: First Class" set photos of the Blackbird that we posted earlier in the month? It turns out there's a whole lot more where that came from!
Comic Book Movie has posted several photos from the "First Class" set, including an extensive look at the destroyed Blackbird that we showed you a few weeks ago. An included piece of storyboard art indicates that a mutant may be responsible for the decimation of the Blackbird, though the exact whos and hows remain unknown.
That's not all we've got for you on the "X-Men" front, however, as someone who claims to have been a part of the "First Class" crew has posted a wide range of potential spoilers for the movie over at Superhero Hype. We've posted some of the highlights here.
Before we proceed, we should acknowledge the very real possibility that everything you're about to read is bogus...

During "Ironclad" presentation at BFI's Movie-Con III in London, actor Jason Flemyng (Kick-Ass, Clash of the Titans) said that he will be re-teaming with director Matthew Vaughn in "X-Men: First Class." He will be playing the role of Azazel, who has been described as a "teleporter," with Flemyng stating that his character will have a tail that will be added in post-production. Azazel is the father of Nightcrawler. The character first appeared in "Uncanny X-Men" #428 in a storyline called "The Draco" where we finally learned that Kurt Wagner (Nightcrawler) was the son of the lead of an ancient race of mutants, from biblical times, who looked like demons and who could teleport by opening portals into other dimensions. In the comics, Azazel had been banished to the "Brimstone dimension" by angels, but left that dimension to father children, one of them being Nightcrawler. So, will Nightcrawler be in the movie as well?...
