- His Trucks traveled 25,000 miles transporting approximately 70 of his animals, many of which have appeared in top motion pictures.
- His personal automobile will record 60,000 miles for shows, fair meetings and booking appointments.
- In 1969 he sold his ranch to exotic animal trainer Ralph Helfer who renamed it to "Gentle Jungle" an Affection Training School that emphasized Love, Patience, Understanding and Respect. It was a three-phase program that took 22 weeks to complete.
- Owned "Gene Holter Movieland Animal Park" a 55-acre ranch at 10940 Riverside Ave. in Bloomington, California.
- Gene was an exception to the rule of circus. Very little music if any during the show. He would get on the microphone and talk though out all his performances. I guess he believed in educating the public about everything there is to know about trainers , animals etc, etc. Oh and when he ran out words he just might talk about the weather. All in all he was a fine showman and person. Gene Holter loved the business.
- In 1949, he imported and trained a zebra stallion for riding.

- His Wild Animal Show made it's debut in the 1950's which featured Larry Rucker, and his chimp, Pat Henry with his trained horse, Don McLennon with his dogs and Hiawatha Liberty act and Harriet Beatty (Albina Beatty Say) and her lions.
- Owned 18 elephants.
- Had a dog act in his Wild Animal Show called "Lee Mosier's Canine Cut Ups".
- Owned Dromedary Camels ridden in racing competitions.
- Owned the World's only Zonkey Half Zebra Donkey a "Believe it or Not Item".
- Legendary lion trainer Clyde Beatty worked on his Animal Park.
