Get ready for a gritty noir mystery thriller series set in Los Angeles created by Mark Protosevich (I Am Legend) and directed by Fernando Meirelles (City of God). Apple TV+’s latest series titled Sugar is an original story and it follows the titular character Private Detective John Sugar, who goes to LA to find a missing girl named Olivia Siegel, the beloved granddaughter of Hollywood producer Jonathan Siegel. As he digs deeper into the case he finds some secrets the Siegel family would have liked to keep buried.
While the critical reception of Sugar is not as good as I would have hoped, it is still an impressive series and worth your time. So, if you want to lose yourself in the dirty underbelly of LA with Pi John Sugar, here are the dates for the series’ upcoming episodes.

Chad Stahelski is paying it forward.
When he’s not conducting well-choreographed chaos for Keanu Reeves’ John Wick, Stahelski strives to lift up the stunt community that launched his career as a stunt performer, as well as his second act as a director. With the success of the John Wick franchise, Stahelski and his company, 87eleven Entertainment, now have the cachet to create opportunities for other stunt professionals with filmmaking aspirations, just like Reeves did for him and his former partner, David Leitch.
So when Stahelski’s friend and John Wick: Chapter 2 supervising stunt coordinator J.J. Perry approached him and 87eleven Entertainment President Jason Spitz with a script called Day Shift, they both jumped on it and had it polished so they could pitch the vampire action-comedy to Netflix. Stars: Bruce Willis, Lauren McCord, Ashley Greene, Massi Furlan, Adam Huel Potter, Michael Sirow, Texas Battle | Written by Bill Lawrence | Directed by Mike Burns
The last of Bruce Willis’ films continue to trickle out, and the most recent one to come our way is Wrong Place, which reunites Willis with music supervisor turned director Mike Burns and writer Bill Lawrence, the team responsible for Out of Death. I won’t blame you if you give up on it after reading that.
Frank was a police chief, now he’s a security guard. But when we first see him he’s still a cop. He and his wife Maggie are drunkenly discussing their daughter Chloe being diagnosed with cancer. On the way home from their wine-soaked dinner he swerves to avoid a deer on the road. I’m sure you can guess the rest.

"You made a crucial mistake..." "I'm gonna do what I do best." Vertical Ent. has revealed an official trailer for Wrong Place, yet another of these B-movie crime thrillers with Bruce Willis. You thought they were done?! They've probably got a dozen more of these lined-up, sadly, clearly manipulating Bruce into just working and work. In this film, a meth cook hunts down the former police chief of a small town in order to silence him before he can deliver eyewitness testimony against his family, but ultimately finds himself up against more than he had bargained for when he threatens the chief's daughter. Starring Ashley Greene, Bruce Willis, Michael Sirow, Texas Battle, Stacey Danger, & Massi Furlan. This looks as formulaic and as obvious and as cheesy as expected. Unfortunately there's nothing to see with these final Willis films. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Mike Burns' Wrong Place, direct from...

"One last time?" "One last time." Sony Pictures has debuted the second official trailer for Bad Boys For Life, the long-awaited (unwanted?) sequel to the two Bad Boys movies (from 1995 / 2003). The first trailer dropped a few months ago, and didn't really impress anyone. This one doesn't exactly change things, but it is a better trailer. Reuniting the "bad boys" cops Will Smith and Martin Lawrence once again - Marcus Burnett is now a police inspector and Mike Lowery is in a midlife crisis. They unite again when an Albanian mercenary, whose brother they killed, promises them an important bonus. Also with Thomas Brag, Paola Núñez, Jacob Scipio, Joe Pantoliano, Alexander Ludwig, Charles Melton, Jamie Neumann, Massi Furlan, DJ Khaled, with Vanessa Hudgens. This feels so much like it's imitating Michael Bay's explosive style, but without any of his pizazz and technical prowess. I wish this looked better than it does.

We’ve got an adventurous and funny new trailer for Jumanji: The Next Level for you to enjoy today! The trailer is packed full of enjoyable new footage as Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart, and Jack Black try to survive another round of Jumanji, but this time the adventure is more challenging and some of them might not make it out alive.
One of the funniest aspects of this sequel is the fact that Johnson and Hart are playing the older characters of Danny DeVito and Danny Glover. I’ve gotta say, I enjoy their impressions of them! Oh, we also learn in the trailer what happened to Bethany and the character she’s playing! It’s definitely not what I was expecting!
Here’s the synopsis that was released:

Sony Pictures has dropped the first trailer for Will Smith and Martin Lawrence’s Bad Boys For Life, and after watching it, I’m not sure why they made the movie. I was actually looking forward to this, but damn… it looks so uninteresting. The comedy falls flat, and it just doesn’t bring anything new or unique to the table. This is the definition of a cash grab movie.
It’s a shame because I liked these characters, and I liked what Michael Bay did with the first two films, but as you know, Bay did not direct this one. Bad Boys For Life was helmed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who directed a few films that I’ve never seen, and I’m not impressed by what I’m seeing now.
Here’s the synopsis:

"One last time?" "One last time." Sony Pictures has unveiled the first teaser trailer for Bad Boys For Life, the long-awaited sequel to the first two Bad Boys movies (from 1995 and 2003). Michael Bay isn't back for this, instead he's handed over the directing duties to Belgian filmmakers Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, with Bruckheimer still producing. Reuniting "bad boys" cops Will Smith and Martin Lawrence once again - Marcus Burnett (Lawrence) is now a police inspector and Mike Lowery (Smith) is in a midlife crisis. They unite again when an Albanian mercenary, whose brother they killed, promises them an important bonus. “Everything you know about Jumanji is about to change.”
Sony Pictures has unleashed the first trailer for the Jumanji: The Next Level, which will continue the adventures of the characters that we were introduced to in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, but these characters are going to be a little different this time around.
You see… the characters in the game played by Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, and Jack Black will be different people this time around. Johnson now plays Danny DeVito’s character in video game Jumanji form and Hart plays Danny Glover’s character. The actor who played Hart in the first film is now Jack Black and Morgan Turner, who was Karen Gillan’s character in the first film, ends up in the same character.

"Remember - the future of Jumanji is in your hands!" Sony Pictures has debuted the first official trailer for the sequel Jumanji: The Next Level, continuing the brand new Jumanji board game-inspired series of movies which kicked off with Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle in 2017. This time, they get sent back into the game but the characters are switched - different people end up with the same avatars from the first one. But where is everyone else? We'll have to play to find out exactly what's going on here. The four main players are all back: Dwayne Johnson / Alex Wolff, Jack Black / Madison Iseman, Kevin Hart / Ser'Darius Blain, and Karen Gillan / Morgan Turner. And the full cast also includes Nick Jonas, Colin Hanks, Awkwafina, Danny DeVito, Danny Glover, Rhys Darby, Massi Furlan, and Dania Ramirez. This looks even more like a video game movie than the last one, but it still doesn't seem any better.

Just a couple of weeks ago, we brought you the late casting addition of Italian actor Massi Furlan (Star Trek, Aim High), but apparently it’s not going to stop there.

Touch TV Show Trailer. Francis Lawrence‘s Touch (2011) TV Show Trailer stars Kiefer Sutherland, Danny Glover, David Mazouz, Karen David, and Philip Shahbaz. Touch‘s plot synopsis: “Centers on a father who discovers his autistic, mute son can actually predict events before they happen.”
When I saw this I immediately thought of Knowing, The Mothman Prophecies, and the book Simple Simon. Knowing drowned itself by its third act, The Mothman Prophecies was surprising good, with a mix of the supernatural and thriller and Simple Simon was made into an average Bruce Willis film. Touch seems more action based with Kiefer Sutherland’s Martin Bohm going out on missions his son assigns him through his gift (watch the TV trailer, you’ll see).
Some believe this show has a few hurtles to overcome and I have to agree. Here are a few:

We have been bringing you a load of behind the scenes pictures and videos from the Pittsburgh and Los Angeles sets of director Christopher Nolan‘s final installment of his Bat-trilogy The Dark Knight Rises. There hasn’t been any casting news for the film since February when Christopher Judge (Andromeda, Stargate Sg-1) joined the cast in an undisclosed role.
Now, Monsters & Critics reports that Italian actor Massi Furlan (Star Trek, Aim High) has recently joined the cast. While Furlan has already filmed several scenes and stated that it was “an extraordinary experience,” the actor has been told not to reveal his role.

More set videos are up from shooting in Los Angeles over the weekend for "The Dark Knight Rises".
Spoilers Ahead
One night shoot in downtown saw the Batpod being chased by a few police vehicles - and by a few, I actually mean around thirty cars and a half dozen trucks. Video of that can be found here and here. There's also been daytime filming of the Batwing being flown around with the help of a helicopter which can be seen here.
Meanwhile a source of Batman-News claims to have seen the new Batcave set and while there is more "set dressing with equipment", the basic design is quite similar to that we saw in "Batman Begins" complete with the waterfall and Wayne Manor foundation beams. This means those Romanian salt mines are either not a part of the production, or are standing in for something else.
Finally, actor Massi Furlan...

The Dark Knight doesn't rest, not even on weekends.
A whole slew of new videos from the set of Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises" have hit the web over the weekend and showcase some exciting new scenes from the movie. There aren't many spoilers in these videos like previous leaks have included, but there's still plenty to get excited about.
» Remember all those photos of the Batwing on set? Well, now you finally get to see it in action, sort of. Bleeding Cool snagged a video of the Batwing being rolled around on set, and flown around by a helicopter. The video is from a distance so it's hard to see who was in the scene as it was filming. Sorry for shattering your hopes that Nolan had somehow found a way to make the Batwing operational on its own.

Just because everyone on Latino Review is off for the weekend -- lounging, partying, gambling, taking photos of taco trucks then tweeting about them, doing laundry, having pizza with their mom, whatever -- doesn't mean that 'The Dark Knight Rises' takes it off as well. It is time for that weekend recap. To begin, Batman-News got their hands on a video of an absolutely massive chase scene in which the Gotham City Police Department is barrelling down on poor Batman with a vengeance. (Christian Bale) It's like they think he killed a well respected district attorney or something. Next up is a video from Bleeding Cool that's entirely worthy of this article's misleading headline. The alleged Batwing that has been seen parading around the various sets for a couple of months was caught being hoisted up by a helicopter. Batwingcopter is too wacky of a name, so taking...

Hmm. Secret role? Nah, I'm not going to speculate here, he's probably just a member of the League of Assassins. But with Nolan, we can never be quite sure can we? The Dark Knight Rises is an upcoming American superhero film under the development of Christopher Nolan, David S. Goyer, and Jonathan Nolan.
