Casper Ruud admitted during the Estoril Open that he doesn't get too much coverage and Rennae Stubbs laid the blame at his feet.
Ruud has been struggling with his tennis after preparing for the year in an unorthodox way. Many questioned his reasoning for it and Ruud himself understands now that it was a big mistake to miss the full off-season because of the exhibition tour and that he won't be doing that again.
Estoril saw him finally return to good form and win an event which was much-needed after a rather lacklustre start to the year. In Estoril, the Norwegian reflected on some of the criticism he gets, especially the notion that he only wins small events. In the same interview, he lamented the fact that he doesn't get much coverage. Speaking on her podcast, Stubbs talked about the topic, saying:

While “This Is Us” is a drama about multiple generations of a family, it also includes a mystery within its premise. In future scenes, it has been revealed that Rebecca (Mandy Moore) has been living in the home Kevin (Justin Hartley) built for her, as she gets older and her dementia gets worse. The family has seemingly gathered to say goodbye.
The flash-forwards, which take place about 10 to 15 years in the future judging by the age of Kevin’s twins, have filled in some blanks, while leaving other doors wide open.
One character that has appeared is Rebecca’s husband, Miguel (Jon Huertas), as it was revealed in a May episode that he died before she did.
Instead, Jack’s brother, Nicky (Griffin Dunne), is by her side. The show has confirmed that no, Nicky and Rebecca aren’t together, as he’s married to Edie (Vanessa Bell Calloway), who is also there.

Caitlin Thompson has been in the entertainment industry for more than a decade. However, it wasn’t until more recently that things started to really take off for her. Although her role on the show was initially somewhat small, she became a much bigger character when she began dating Kevin Pearson (Justin Hartley). So, he does what any self-respecting young father would do. He breaks out his guitar to sing a cover version of "Anna Begins" by Counting Crows. As he breaks out into song, it's obvious that his acoustic singing skills aren't going to do the trick. "Come on, guys. It's Counting Crows," he pleads. "It's like a lullaby. [Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Season 6, Episode 6 of This Is Us, “Our Little Island Girl: Part Two.”] Just when viewers think something might be over, This Is Us pulls us back in, particularly when it comes to Kevin Pearson’s (Justin Hartley) evolving relationships. This Is Us is in its final season and there are a few questions we’d love to see answered before the series is through, particularly when it comes to Kevin Pearson’s (Justin Hartley) relationship status. There are questions every fan of This Is Us wants answered before NBC’s time-hopping Pearson family drama makes us shed our last tear. How does music teacher Kate (Chrissy Metz), currently married to Toby (Chris Sullivan), end up engaged to her crusty coworker Phillip (Chris Geere)? Can her brother Kevin (Justin Hartley) and his ex-fiancée Madison (Caitlin Thompson) still get happy endings? Will mom Rebecca (Mandy Moore) find peace when she loses her battle to (presumably) Alzheimer’s? What else will late dad Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) teach us about marriage, parenting, and ourselves? On a Saturday in December, after Ventimiglia had spent the week pulling double duty on set — “Yesterday was Day 3 in a pool with 7-year-olds, wearing a fake beard, acting and directing” — he phoned us to dish. (Credit: Ron Batzdorff/NBC) We have a photo of Jack and Rebecca embracing in the Season 6 premiere. They’re beaming.

On Tuesday night in Hollywood, the cast and creatives behind NBC’s “This Is Us” took a break from filming the sixth and final season of the hit family drama to celebrate the show’s impact on the fans, their careers and network television as we know it.
But the cast isn’t letting the nostalgia of this victory lap overwhelm them — at least not just yet.
“There’s no time for emotions on this set,” Milo Ventimiglia, who plays the late Pearson patriarch Jack, quipped, tells Variety. “I’ve been up since 3 in the morning!”
“I’m sure toward the end, we will begin to get emotional, but not yet, not right now. We’ve got a lot of work to do,” he added.
For Mandy Moore, a lot of that pent-up emotion will play well on-screen, as her character Rebecca goes on a bit of a “farewell tour” this season.

The This Is Us team gathered on the Paramount Lot on Tuesday night to tease the NBC drama’s sixth and final season, which is set to premiere on January 4.
Among those on hand was creator and exec producer Dan Fogelman, who explained that while he has the plot for the series finale in mind, with eight of 18 episodes fully shot, he has not yet committed it to paper. “As we speak, we’re up to about the writing and crafting of Episode 15 of 18, so we’ve got three or four more to do,” he shared. “We know what they are, we have the plan, but we haven’t actually written the scripts yet.”
Fogelman teased that he hopes to bring back some familiar faces from the past in the final season, “especially at the end”—with Sterling K. Brown confirming that we’ll “definitely” see Ron Cephas Jones’ William again.

It’s been 15 years since one of the big four broadcast networks won Best Drama Series at the Emmys, which means babies born that year are now almost legal to drive. Does that make you feel old? Action drama “24” was the last such series to prevail in 2006, but now NBC’s “This Is Us” is hoping to take up the mantle for all broadcasters and claim gold when the 2021 Emmy Awards are handed in September. Its rival nominees for Best Drama Series are “The Boys,” “Bridgerton,” “The Crown,” “The Handmaid’s Tale,” “Lovecraft Country,” “The Mandalorian” and “Pose.”

Through the years, “This Is Us” has welcomed countless big-name guest stars to its ever-growing family, with a whopping six being nominated at the Emmys: Ron Cephas Jones, Gerald McRaney, Brian Tyree Henry, Denis O’Hare, Michael Angarano and Phylicia Rashad. Angarano first joined NBC’s family drama in 2018 as Nick Pearson, the estranged brother of Jack Pearson (Milo Ventimiglia). In flashbacks we see Nick’s early life with Jack and their service in Vietnam, while in the present-day story he’s known as Uncle Nicky (Griffin Dunne) and lives a mostly solitary life in his trailer. In the most recent fifth season, Angarano returned in the “One Small Step” episode in which fans saw Nick fall in love for the first time with his co-worker Sally at the animal clinic.

While most of the “This Is Us” cast has earned Emmy love at one point or another in the show’s first four seasons, one person who has been curiously left out is Justin Hartley. This year he is campaigning again in lead, and while it is rare for actors to be Emmy-nominated after years of snubs, the strong material he was given in Season 5 could finally get him there.

Fogelman has spoken lately about the fact that Season 6 will leave no stone unturned. And while there are a startling number of characters, storylines and time periods to reckon with in the final go-round, he has promised fans resolution.
In conversation with Deadline last night, prior to a Rose Bowl screening of the Season 5 finale, Fogelman addressed a theory about a possible Rebecca (Mandy Moore)-Nicky (Griffin Dunne) relationship, the MIAs in the flash-forward scene at Kevin’s house, the prospect of seeing more grown-up versions of The Big Three’s children, and the (unlikely) prospect that even more...

Mandy Moore has a proposal for the final season of This Is Us: a destination wedding.
When the NBC drama returns in 2022 for its sixth season, the series will spend a great deal of time filling in the blanks between the present-day story of the Pearson family and the glimpses of the future that creator Dan Fogelman has parceled out throughout the run of the show. But, the creator confirmed to Variety, it’ll also tie up some loose story threads relating to the past — most importantly, how widow Rebecca Pearson (Moore) came to be married to her late husband’s best friend, Miguel (Jon Huertas).
Past seasons revealed that the couple reconnected many years after Jack’s (Milo Ventimiglia) death via social media, but that’s about it. Fogelman said...

Still not over the This Is Us season five finale? Chrissy Metz totally gets it. Just hours before it aired, the actress appeared on The Tonight Show and shared how long she's known about the episode's surprising twist. "Well, I've known for quite some time," she told Jimmy Fallon. "I didn't know how it was going to unfold. I'm concerned for many people, including myself. So yeah, I've known for quite some time and it's been hard, of course, to keep the secret." For those who missed it, here's what happened (warning: spoilers ahead): While Kevin (Justin Hartley) and Madison (Caitlin Thompson) were set to tie the knot, she called off the wedding and...

Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you have not yet watched the fifth season finale of “This Is Us.”
The Season 5 finale of This Is Us, like so many other major episodes, ended with a surprise twist. It shouldn’t have been too surprising for longtime viewers of the NBC drama, though, that the episode that was supposed to focus on Kevin (Justin Hartley) and Madison (Caitlin Thompson), the mother of his twin babies, tying the knot didn’t actually end with the duo walking down the aisle.
Instead, it was a different Pearson sibling getting married. The opening scene of Kevin rehearsing wedding jokes in formal wear turned out not to be from his own wedding in present-day, but rather five years in the future at his twin sister Kate’s (Chrissy Metz) second wedding — to her boss, Phillip (Chris Geere).

Updated with comments from This Is Us Emmy FYC Event at the Rose Bowl: During an early flashback in tonight’s This Is Us season 5 finale, Mandy Moore’s Rebecca Pearson settles down to watch the wedding season finale of ABC’s Dynasty.
“Ok, Dynasty, let’s kill some friggin’ wedding guests!” she exclaims with her wine, popcorn and M&Ms set out before her.
Unbeknown to Rebecca, she’s foreshadowing what’s to come tonight. While there aren’t any wedding guests who are killed, two marriages fall apart. In present day, it’s Kevin and Madison (Justin Hartley and Caitlin Thompson) who decide not to tie the knot. However, we also learn in a flash-forward that Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Toby (Chris Sullivan) don’t work out. Read on.

“This Is Us” set up its sixth and final season with Tuesday’s Season 5 finale episode, which dropped one big bombshell on the Pearson family themselves and another on us viewers.
First, there was the twist that Madison (Caitlin Thompson) backed out of her wedding to Kevin (Justin Hartley) at the last minute, concerned there just wasn’t enough love on his end to proceed with the marriage.
Then, there was a second wedding-related twist that was literally about a second wedding: a flash-forward to four years in the future, where it’s revealed that Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Toby (Chris Sullivan) have gotten divorced, and she’s in the middle of getting ready for her nuptials to her now-boss at the music school for blind children, Phillip (played by Chris Geere).

“This Is Us” fans got the news this week that the NBC family drama will be ending with its upcoming sixth season. That probably didn’t come as a shock to most die-hard Pearson viewers, seeing as series creator Dan Fogelman has been saying for years now that his plan for the show was a six-season arc. What might startle the “This Is Us” crowd, however, is the news that NBC will not be debuting the show’s sixth and final season this fall, and is instead holding it until midseason on its 2021-22 schedule.
NBC said it has a good reason of depriving you of the end of Jack, Rebecca, Kate, Kevin, Randall, Beth and Toby’s story until 2022: they are thinking of you first.
“Speaking of notable absences in the fall, ‘This Is Us’ will be airing midseason for the first time during its remarkable run,” Frances Berwick,...

“This Is Us” will be ending with its upcoming sixth season, TheWrap has learned.
The Season 6 end to the hit family drama — which revolves around Jack and Rebecca Pearson and their kids, Randall, Kevin and Kate, aka “The Big Three,” in the past, present and future — shouldn’t come as much of a shock, as series creator Dan Fogelman has long said he wanted to wrap the series with the sixth installment.
During its third season, “This Is Us” was renewed through Season 6.
In a press conference with reporters pegged to the Season 4 finale last March, Fogelman said, as he had many times before then and has since, “the Pearsons’ story will basically come to a close” with the sixth season.

This Is Us will end its current season sooner than planned.
Per The Wrap, the beloved NBC drama will conclude two episodes shy of its original 18-episode order.
This Is Us Season 5 Episode 16, the season finale, is set to air Tuesday, May 25.
With three fresh installments of This Is Us Season 5 remaining, the series will be off the air until May 11.
The series typically airs with minimal breaks between episodes, but like many other shows, the series is in production during the Covid-19 pandemic.
It's been more difficult to produce TV with the stringent protocols to keep the cast and crew safe while making the show for fans.
Many TV shows have been forced to take more breaks than usual, and This Is Us is one of them.

Facing the same pandemic production difficulties as many other TV shows this season, NBC’s “This Is Us” will end its currently airing fifth season two episodes shy of its original count, TheWrap has learned.
Intended to have 18 episodes, Season 5 of Dan Fogelman’s family drama will now consist of 16 episodes, with the finale airing May 25 at 10 p.m. The condensed-season strategy is something several broadcast shows are opting for in 2021 to try to help curb the spread of Covid-19 as vaccines continue to roll out.
On the bright side, fans still have three more hours of Pearson family fun (and tears) to look forward to over the next few weeks, as Episode 13, titled “Brotherly Love,” just aired Tuesday, meaning there are three left in Season 5. The next new installment of “This Is Us” is set for May 11.

Homeward bound. "And for my favorite new mom, who can't have caffeine yet, one vanilla steamer. So, have fun with that." Little does Kevin know his life is about to change! "Big news. We hope you’re not babied-out after last week’s “This Is Us” featured the births of Kevin and Madison’s twins, Frances and Nicholas, and Kate and Toby’s adopted daughter, Hailey, because Tuesday’s episode is even more infant-centric. And possibly even more emotional, if Jon Huertas, who plays Miguel on the NBC family drama and directed the upcoming hour, is to be trusted.
Seriously, the actor says one scene with Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) even had him tearing up. And that makes us just a little bit worried, because in the preview for the episode, titled “The Ride,” we saw what appeared to be Jack buying and drinking a small bottle of whiskey on a pitstop at a gas station while he and Rebecca were taking the newborn Big 3 home from the hospital.

This Is Us, still playing with our emotions five seasons in. We knew that Kevin (Justin Hartley) was anxiously awaiting the arrival of his and Madison's (Caitlin Thompson) twins while trying to film a big movie in Vancouver, and we knew based on an episode synopsis that he was embarking on a "stressful road trip." So when tonight's episode—the first in nearly a month—began with a car crash and a shot of Kevin's driver's license laying beside it, we feared the absolute worst. We got a little mad, honestly. Dan Fogelman might need to close his eyes while watching his show This Is Us. In case you missed it, the series creator and brains behind the tear-jerking series is married in real life to actress Caitlin Thompson, aka Madison on the show. After a longer-than-usual wait between seasons, fans will finally reunite with the Pearson clan when the fifth season of “This Is Us” premieres tonight on NBC. And because of that longer-than-usual wait, we’re willing to bet that even the biggest Big Three lovers might not remember exactly where we left America’s favorite family when the Season 4 finale aired back in March.

NBC has released a scene from next Tuesday’s Season 5 premiere of “This Is Us,” which shows Kevin (Justin Hartley) telling his sister, Kate (Chrissy Metz), that he got her friend Madison (Caitlin Thompson) pregnant. And, because the Dan Fogelman-created family drama is adding the real-life coronavirus pandemic into its fifth season, this exchange happens on Kate and Toby’s (Chris Sullivan) lawn in a socially-distanced manner.
And it’s a good thing Kate has that room from her brother and Madison to breathe, as it takes her a minute to find the words to react to this huge news. But, when she finally does speak, she’s incredibly happy for them both.

Kevin (Justin Hartley) has some big news for Kate (Chrissy Metz) on This Is Us. In a new sneak peek of the season five premiere, Kevin goes to Kate's house to deliver a big surprise to her and Toby (Chris Sullivan). Kate tells him to get further back in the yard (since this is the time of Covid-19), and she and Toby barely give him a second to speak. Toby thinks his big news is that he's the new Batman or maybe that he's starting his own tequila brand, or maybe he knocked somebody up! “This Is Us” has always tried to reflect the everyday problems of an ordinary American family, and based on the new trailer for the upcoming fifth season, the show will soon be hitting even closer to home. Ahead of the show’s two-hour premiere on Oct. 27, NBC released the Season 5 trailer Friday with brand new scenes of the Pearson family wearing masks as Covid-19 will be incorporated into the show.
Additionally, as Sterling K. Brown previously revealed, Season 5 will be covering the Black Lives Matter movement, which the trailer essentially confirms, with Randall (Brown), Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) and their kids watching footage of protests on TV. At one point, Randall dejectedly states, “What we’re dealing with as a people, it’s just so tragic.” Watch the Season 5 trailer above.
The trailer picks up where last season left off following the major blowup between Kevin (Justin Hartley) and Randall.

This Is Us Season 4 was a rough one for Rebecca, who was worrying about her mental health in the present.
The good news is that there appears to be good news on the horizon, with present-day Rebecca positively glowing.
