It’s official. Galactus is coming to the MCU.
After months of speculation, Marvel officially announced that they’ve found their Galactus. Ralph Ineson, a Game of Thrones veteran known for standout supporting roles in The Witch and The Green Knight, will portray the Devourer of Worlds. Ineson’s casting comes on the heels of other compelling announcements for its upcoming film The Fantastic Four, including Paul Walter Hauser and John Malkovich. Marvel hasn’t yet disclosed which characters those two are playing, but the smart money has Hauser down for the Mole Man. Malkovich could fit a number of characters, including minor baddies Puppet Master or Diablo, including just a grouchy official. Heck, maybe he’ll finally get to play a version of the Vulture, as he was slated to do in Sam Raimi’s abandoned Spider-Man 4!
While any of those baddies would be fun, the Galactus casting deserves the most attention.

Bummed You Can’t Play Rise of the Ronin? These Are 5 Non-FromSoftware Soulslike Games for Xbox Users
After being in development for almost 9 years now, Team Ninja’s latest outing, Rise of the Ronin, is out there and critics have some really good things to say. However, the fact that the game is a PlayStation 5 exclusive is a total bummer for all the Xbox users who were looking at getting their hands on this latest action role-playing title.
Nonetheless, it is not surprising to see the game being exclusively released on PS5 given Sony Interactive has published the game. However, Xbox players have been expressing the feeling of missing out on Rise of the Ronin.
Rise of the Ronin
That being said, Xbox players can try other games of the same Souls-like genre on their Microsoft consoles. And when we say Souls-like, we mean games from other developers apart from the dominant FromSoftware as well. Save the #Fomo for later and try these five Non-FromSoftware Soulslike games on Xbox.

Spoiler Alert: This story contains mild spoilers for “Lisa Frankenstein,” in theaters now.
Zelda Williams has no problem admitting that her feature directorial debut “Lisa Frankenstein” isn’t destined to be considered a cinematic masterpiece.
“First and foremost, this movie Isn’T a groundbreaking spiritual journey that will change your worldly perceptions,” she wrote in a filmmaker’s statement, “but it Is a ride — so maybe just try to put your hands in the air and let the coaster take you!”
And that it is — a rollercoaster homage to 1980s slasher films. Written by Oscar winner Diablo Cody, “Lisa Frankenstein” stars Kathryn Newton as a high school outsider who falls for a centuries-old non-verbal corpse (Cole Sprouse) that has come back to life.
The two embark on a journey of friendship, love and missing body parts. They go on a killing spree to replace the corpse’s deteriorated appendages, including a hand,...

This article contains major spoilers for "Lisa Frankenstein."
Hollywood has its eyes on "Lisa Frankenstein." The '80s horror comedy marks the feature directorial debut of Zelda Williams, the return of Diablo Cody to the teen horror comedy subgenre for the first time in 15 years, and has the potential to be the first big box office hit of 2024. If you had told me four years ago that one day an '80s-set zombie rom-com featuring "Freaky" star Kathryn Newton and Cole "Jughead Jones" Sprouse would be one of the most anticipated releases of the year, I'd wonder how you got a time machine and where you put my diaries.
Given its tone and delightfully odd story, "Lisa Frankenstein" is sure to be a polarizing film. It's an '80s film to its core, not just in its setting, but also in its approach to comedy. Many have compared the film...

A totally killer paranormal love story inspired by Mary Shelley’s classic horror novel is headed to the screen with Lisa Frankenstein, written by Diablo Cody (Jennifer’s Body) and directed by Zelda Williams. Lisa Frankenstein comes to theaters on February 9, 2024.
The ’80s set comedy is “a coming of Rage love story about a misunderstood teenager and her high school crush, who happens to be a handsome corpse. After a set of playfully horrific circumstances bring him back to life, the two embark on a murderous journey to find love, happiness… and a few missing body parts along the way.”
Kathryn Newton (Freaky, Abigail) and Cole Sprouse (“Riverdale”) star as high school outcast Lisa Swallows and Creature, two complicated characters that couldn’t be further apart in personality but are drawn together by bizarre, supernatural circumstances. Whereas Lisa can’t stop talking, centuries of being dead have left Creature a lumbering,...

Screenwriter Diablo Cody says she’s interested in rebooting the 2009 cult horror comedy, Jennifer’s Body. “I never lost my passion for that world,” she says.
Diablo Cody’s returning to the horror comedy genre this year with Lisa Frankenstein, directed by Zelda Williams. As its name implies, it’s another modern spin on Mary Shelley’s gothic tale, with Kathryn Newton starring as a young woman who revives the corpse of a Victorian gentleman and proceeds to turn the creature into her ideal lover.
In an interview with Deadline, Cody has revealed – perhaps half-jokingly – that Lisa Frankenstein takes place “in the same universe” as her earlier horror comedy, Jennifer’s Body, released in 2009. There won’t be any obvious nods to that film, though, so it sounds as though this is something Cody had in the back of her mind as she was writing rather than a concerted attempt to create a franchise.

There have been numerous takes on Mary Shelley’s classic tale Frankenstein. The latest of which offers up a script by Diablo Cody, and terrific performances from Cole Sprouse and Kathryn Newton. Zelda Williams takes on the directorial duties of Lisa Frankenstein. It tells the tale of a young outcast who manages to bring the dead to life, but without a few necessary body parts. The film also features a lively performance from Carla Gugino as well as Liza Soberano. Lisa Frankenstein opens this Friday at a theatre near you.

Zelda Williams has wonderful memories of being on film sets as a kid, watching her father, Robin Williams, shoot movies like Hook and Bicentennial Man. But that doesn’t mean she inherited his bombastic sense of humor. “I’m a bit darker,” says Williams, 34. “I’m the person who laughed during Hereditary.”
Williams is putting those dark impulses on full display in her feature directorial debut, Lisa Frankenstein, in theaters Feb. 9. Written by Diablo Cody, the film is an Eighties retelling of the Mary Shelley classic (think less chemistry experiments,...

Despite years of campaigning, lofty Twitter proclamations, and a burning desire to share his ideal vision for a film project he says got out of hand, David Ayer is “done” with DC Studios. In other words, he is abandoning hope of ever releasing a Director’s Cut of 2016’s Suicide Squad.
Speaking about the ongoing drama surrounding Suicide Squad on X/Twitter, a fan asked Ayer point-blank if he’s still fighting to release an extended version of the villain-centric ensemble film. “Nope. Done and done,” Ayer replied. “Very sad. You’ll be done after a good cry. I feel healthier. It’s a wound that needs to heal.”

Unveiling the Mystique of Maleficent’s Character Design When we think of Disney’s Sleeping Beauty, one figure casts a long shadow over the enchanted landscape: Maleficent. Her character design is nothing short of iconic. With her towering horns, draped in a cloak of night, she is a vision of villainy that is both elegant and foreboding. She was powerful, cunning, and a snazzy dresser with Diablo, the Best Pet Ever, as one observer aptly put it. It’s this distinctive silhouette that etches itself into our collective memory, making Maleficent as recognizable as the princess she torments. Maleficent’s Entrance A Dramatic Tone...

An official YouTube channel dedicated to the classic sitcom The Munsters and the franchise it spawned was launched three years ago, and as the years have gone by a whole lot of clips from the 1964 – 1966 show have been added to that channel. To a certain kind of gamer, Diablo is sacrosanct. Arriving for PC in 1997, the first game in the series evoked all the most hellacious phantasmagoria ever dreamt up in a basement-bound Dungeons & Dragons campaign, neatly packaged in an endlessly replayable hack-and-slash RPG. A smash hit, its publisher, Blizzard Entertainment, would quickly follow with with 2000’s Diablo II, and that’s where things really began to heat up.
The highest-selling PC game ever at the time, Diablo II would help cement the legacy of the series as both highly influential and unassailable — at least,...

Activision Blizzard will release Diablo IV, the highly anticipated next entry in its Diablo franchise, on June 6 next year, the artist Halsey announced at this year’s Game Awards on Thursday.
Diablo IV, from publisher Blizzard Entertainment, will arrive about 11 years after its predecessor and during a tumultuous period at Activision Blizzard, which has faced lawsuits and federal investigations alleging a company culture of sexual harassment and discrimination.
