- Actor
Nick Pavano, born Nicholas Pavano Jr. on July 8th, 1988, was raised in
Union, NJ, USA. He graduated in 2006 from Union High School, the same
graduating high school of Ray Liotta and 'Arliss'' Robert Wuhl. After
forming Lightning Films in 1999, he spent eight years writing and
directing his own shorts, some of which ended up on local television
and in film festivals. In early 2008, Pavano began pre-production on
his first feature length film, The Roadhouse (2009).
Pavano is an advocate of independent film and an avid supporter of
shooting video. He's known for making movies with little to no budget,
producing an end result that looks like it took millions of dollars to
create. A jack of all trades, Pavano writes, directs, edits, and acts
in all of his own films. Today, Lightning Films has produced a total of
twelve shorts, touching most genres. In 2008, Pavano formed Audio Army,
an innovative way for independent recording artists to submit their
music for a listen, potentially earning a chance to be featured in a
Lightning Films' movie. To this day, several bands have been featured
in Pavano's films. An ambitious independent film maker, Pavano is
always looking to discover new talent to be featured in his films. He
has set out to direct and produce several features in 2009. As of
October 2008, he still resides in New Jersey, where he has proudly shot
all of his films.
