Marvel’s first scripted podcast is back for another round of episodes, but the audio saga of “Wolverine” is taking a detour along the way.
As “Wolverine: The Long Night” heads towards this week’s finale, Marvel and Stitcher announced today that the podcast has been renewed for Season 2, a new installment titled “Wolverine: The Lost Trail.” Venturing from the frigid climes of rural Alaska to New Orleans, this new season will follow Logan (Richard Armitage) as he travels through the bayou on the lookout for answers surrounding the disappearance of a former lover.

The trailer has been released for New York Times bestseller Allison Raskin's new scripted soap opera podcast, Gossip. Marvel New Media and podcast listening service/content network Stitcher have announced they’re teaming up for Wolverine: The Long Night, the first-ever Marvel scripted podcast, launching in spring 2018. The 10-episode series will be available exclusively on Stitcher Premium until fall 2018, when it will see a wide release across all podcast platforms.
The show’s cast includes notable actors Richard Armitage (The Hobbit), Scott Adsit (30 Rock), Bob Balaban (Moonrise Kingdom) and Brian Stokes Mitchell (Mr. Robot). Also cast in the series are actors Zoe Chao, Chaske Spencer, Jordan Bridges, David Call, Michael J. Burg and Lannon Killia. Chris Gethard, host of the popular Beautiful Stories from Anonymous People podcast, also will make a cameo appearance.
