This evening, Laura Hills and I attended the European Premiere of a small movie why you may or may not have heard of of called Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2! I haven’t seen Leicester Square as full as it was tonight since the penultimate Harry Potter movie! All three of the squares main cinema chains (Empire, Odeon and Vue) were utilised to make this one of the biggest premieres that the square has ever seen and both Laura and I were speechless at the thousands of adoring fans! As I arrived, I could see hoards of girls running from all directions for a glimpse of their movie heroes and those patient enough and lucky enough to be in the right spot were in for a right treat as Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner all walked the carpet, signing and taking photos with as many of their fans as...

Ladies and gentlemen, dry those tears and cease your fretting, after a few weeks off due to a thoroughly deserved holiday (it was lovely, thanks for asking), the HeyUGuys cinema guide makes its glorious return. I imagine while I’ve been away you have simply left the multiplex well alone for fear of choosing poorly without this wonderous weekly guide to suitably advise you. Or if your twitter feed is anything like mine, everyone has just been at the London Film Festival all day every day instead….seriously, don’t you people have jobs? Luckily, the time is now ripe for you to return to the cinema and take in any of the various fine offerings still playing across the country.
Anyway, a lot of films have come and gone while I’ve been away, so apologies in advance for skirting over everything a little bit. Since last we spoke,...

This evening, London played host to the European Premiere of Warner Bros. new movie, Wrath of the Titans. ‘Wrath’ is the sequel to 2009 movie, Clash of the Titans and see Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes all reprising their roles as Persues, Zeus and Hades respectively.
Laura Hills (@LauraWhosJack) and I headed down to the IMAX Waterloo which was also descended by dozens of fans of the franchise and the stars of the movie. They were all there to get a glimpse of Sam Worthington and Liam Neeson joined by fellow cast member Toby Kebbell and Director Jonathan Liebesman. We got to chat to all of them as they walked the carpet which had been taken over by various ‘Titans’ in rather authentic get-up!
Laura chat with Sam about what it was like returning to the role and whether or not he’ll be shooting a third Titans movie before or after Avatar 2.

So if you’ve missed it, last night I put up all our red carpet video interviews from the 14th Annual British Independent Film Award. All that is missing is the interviews following the award ceremony with many of those who were lucky enough to win an award. I was so pleased to see that Senna won the Best Documentary award. It’s thoroughly deserved and after not getting onto the Oscar long-list, this is a massive morale boost for the intrepid and amazing film-makers.
We also catch up with Nick Moran, talk again with Michael Fassbender for his role in Shame, Michael Smiley after winning Best Supporting Actor in Kill List, Maria Djurkovic for her win for Best Technical Achievement on Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Ron Howard after awarding Paddy Considine for Best Debut Director for Tyrannosaur and Olivia Colman & Producer Diarmid Scrimshaw for their Best Film award also for Tyrannosaur.

As you will be all too aware yesterday saw the UK premiere of Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 hit a very busy Westfield Shopping Centre in Stratford. We were of course down there getting the low down but before all the excitement and hype of the red carpet HeyUGuys met up with one of the films main stars, Taylor Lautner. We chatted to him about the pressure to live up to the fans expectations of the film, keeping his shirt on, holidaying in London and his next project – a film in which he’s starring and producing alongside Milk Director Gus Van Sant (not that he would give too much away about it). He also mentions that he’s very much looking forward to seeing The Hunger Games. I guess time will tell if that can do as well as Twilight has. We suspect it will!

While down at the Breaking Dawn Part 1 premiere at Stratford Westfield this evening we caught up with two men who know probably more about the film than anyone else, director Bill Condon and producer of all five Twilight films, Wyck Godfrey. They took the time out to talk us through the challenges they faced transforming Stephanie Meyer’s books into Hollywood blockbusters, the moments they’re proudest of and what it was like to work with three of the best known actors around.
In the interview, Wyck talks about how they made the baby adding more jam and cream cheese while Bill Condon gives hope to all Twilight fans over the globe saying that this may The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 may not be the end of the Saga. Watch till the end for the info.

As any Twilight fan will know Breaking Dawn, the last book in Stephenie Meyer’s ultra successful franchise, is where it all gets a bit more grown up. Gone are the days of poignant stares, teen melodrama and jealousy ridden love triangles and in is the serious stuff. The bits we’ve all been waiting for. Marriage. Sex. Teen pregnancy and a vampire/human hybrid that threatens the life of our leading lady.
After escaping death on more than one occasion she who doth not know how to crack a smile, Bella Swan (played by Kristen Stewart) is about to marry the love of her life, pouty vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson). They’ve been through a lot in their relatively short relationship and so it should come as no big surprise that in Breaking Dawn Part 1 things only get more complicated. The film opens,...

Hawaii Five-0: Back to Pick Up The Pieces
As Season 1 of the reimagined Hawaii Five-0 came to a close, the writers put McGarrett, Danno, Chin Ho, and Kono in trendy cliffhanging jeopardy. Mainly, viewers will recall, McGarrett was arrested after breaking into Governor Jameson’s (Jean Smart) mansion to confront her over the death of aide Laura Hills (Kelly Hu). Wo Fat (Mark Dacascos) appeared out of nowhere, tasered Steve, and framed him for Governor Jameson’s murder.
In last night’s Season 2 premiere, an imprisoned McGarrett was led into the exercise yard, where his father’s killer, Victor Hesse (James Marsters) shanked Steve. The twist here was that Hesse avoided all vital organs, actually intending to give Steve a chance to escape from prison once he was loaded into an ambulance.
Victor later explained to Chin and Danno that Wo Fat wanted him to kill McGarrett, after which...

And the Truth will set you free… Or get you arrested and send fandom into a tailspin the likes of which I rarely see. Honestly, there were some great moments in this season finale. Alex O'Loughlin and Jean Smart killed it. But there were things that didn't make sense, character continuity that didn't work, and story lines that will Not work unless they turn out to be a ruse next season. Needless to say, I cursed while watching this. A lot. The Show must have to pay serious royalties to The King's estate or something because it's been 24 episodes and we're just now getting some Elvis music? Danny's (Scott Caan) watching Blue Hawaii, and yeah, I totally saw this coming… he's in post-coital bliss with Rachel (Claire van der Boom). I saw it coming, doesn't mean I didn't continually mutter "stupid, stupid, stupid" at the TV. It didn't work before with these two,...

Looking into the car bomb death of governor’s aide Laura Hills (Kelly Hu), McGarrett discovers Laura was the one who had anonymously sent him pieces of evidence from his father’s toolbox, which was stolen earlier this season. The last item Laura sent was the key to an antique bureau in the governor’s office. This led Steve to believe the governor (Jean Smart) not only had Laura killed but was also the target of John McGarrett’s last investigation.
Steve and the team determined the car bomb contained parts from a claymore mine, but when they found the seller, he claimed the buyer was Steve McGarrett. When Steve and Danno checked Laura’s apartment, they found it had been searched. A fingerprint sweep of the apartment turned up Steve’s prints, though he had never been there before.
The finale wrapped up the season-long mystery nicely. I never suspected the governor.

Betrayal abounded on the first season finale of the rebooted 'Hawaii Five-0' (Mon., 10Pm Et on CBS). McGarrett finally got a piece of the puzzle together when he realized the governor's duplicity and involvement with Wo Fat. This tied her to McGarrett's father's demise.
He even got an admission of guilt in the death of Laura Hills earlier this episode, for all the good it's going to do him. The Governor said she's loyal to the people who are loyal to her. It's a great philosophy, but one that isn't shared by Wo Fat.
He arrives in the nick of time with a taser to take down McGarrett, who had the governor at gunpoint. Now, what to do about him.

Make a note, boys: when working as an agent mixed up in international criminal court affairs, foreign dignitaries, and other such nasty business, Never accept a drink from a beautiful woman at your hotel bar. David Atwater (Matt Corboy) didn't heed this advice, and got himself garroted by a beautiful assassin, before any foreplay could commence. That's cold! Laura Hills (Kelly Hu) calls in Five-0 to the case, where they find out that McGarrett's (Alex O'Loughlin) old Navy Seal buddy Nick Taylor (Max Martini) is heading up a private security group chosen to protect war criminal General Pak (Ric Young) when he comes to Hawaii. Of course, McGarrett and Nick go into their "Seal's Only" camaraderie, and Danno (Scott Caan) isn't impressed. In fact, I think he's a little jealous. Steve thinks so too. While Chin Ho (Daniel Dae Kim) and Kono (Grace Park) go over the crime scene, Danno...
