When Wyatt Flores opened for Charles Wesley Godwin at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville earlier this month, he surprised fans by weaving a rendition of the Fray’s 2006 hit “How to Save a Life” into his set list. Shortly after Christmas, the 22-year-old songwriter from Stillwater, Oklahoma, dropped a studio version of the cover. It’s a recording that underscores Flores’ commitment to talking openly about mental health.
“Christmas time isn’t always as shiny and glamorous as it is for others,” he wrote on Instagram. “I hope this little...

Exclusive: BET Media Group is developing the unscripted series The Twins from Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s G-Unit Film & Television and Lionsgate’s Pilgrim Media Group.
The series centers around the Flores brothers, Margarito and Pedro, identical twins who became multi-millionaire, cocaine kingpins by the age of 18 and who would eventually assist in the capture and take-down of drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman.
The Twins will serve as a companion to the award-winning podcast Surviving El Chapo: The Twins Who Brought Down A Drug Lord, which was produced by Lionsgate Sound and G-Unit Audio, and recently released a second season.
Following their arrest, Margarito and Pedro Flores turned their backs on their lucrative drug operation and cooperated with the DEA in exchange for more lenient sentences. Both served 14 years in prison before being released in 2022 to the witness protection program. Margarito Flores continues to walk on the right side of the law.

The Edm festival Beyond Wonderland marked a number of firsts for Val Flores. The 22-year-old had been to raves before, but nothing of this scale. Scheduled to take place at Washington’s Gorge Amphitheatre on June 17 and 18, the event was her first full-blown weekend-festival outing. Artists including Dillon Francis, Kx5, Sub Focus, and Marshmello were scheduled to perform over the two days. But the event’s second day was canceled after a tragic incident took place, which marked another first for Flores: her first time being caught in a mass shooting.

We can breathe a sigh of relief, School Spirits Fanatics.
Paramount+ finally confirmed Tuesday afternoon that it had ordered School Spirits Season 2.
The Hollywood Reporter first reported the news.
School Spirits Season 1 wrapped on the streaming service in April with several cliffhangers.
The series stars Peyton List as Maddie Nears, a teenager trying to solve her murder.
While the YA market has been saturated with series in recent years, the series excelled in every area.
It boasted a compelling mystery, plenty of drama, and lots of potential for future seasons.
"We saw how engaged the fans of the show were, and we're really excited about not only the creative direction of the show [in season one], but the promise of the creative direction we're aware of in the second season," Shauna Phelan, executive vp and co-head of Nickelodeon and Awesomeness live-action series and films, told The Hollywood Reporter.
