Born in Laredo, Texas. Received a B.A in Art from Texas A&M
International University.
Began his career as a news photographer and editor for KGNS-TV, an NBC television affiliate for Laredo, Texas from 2002-2003.
He directed his first narrative short titled "The Cruiser" in 2005 while attending the university for his senior art level course "Critique and Seminar." During his time at Texas A&M International University he founded his production company Iris Productions. In the following years after graduation he's directed local commercial work, most notably for the hotel chain Holiday Inn.
In December 2008 he produced behind the scenes footage for Deliverance Poker's calendar shoot in Las Vegas, Nevada alongside world renowned and celebrity photographer Jerry Avenaim. A year later he officially became a cinematographer for the online poker company. He got to work with poker superstar Michael "Grinder" Mizrachi and family of poker professionals shooting promotional work for D.P.
