Exclusive: The UK-based VFX and animation company Jellyfish Pictures has made two senior hires in an expansion of its VFX division.
Industrial Light & Magic and Nviz alum Jamie Wood has been appointed Head of Compositing. Wood joins with over 22 years of compositing experience. He most recently worked on Netflix’s feature Heart of Stone and has worked on multiple major movie franchises, including Star Trek, X-Men, The Wizarding World, and MCU titles.
Pete Seager has also joined the Jellyfish Pictures VFX team as Head of CG. With a broad background as a CG Supervisor, Lighting Lead, and Rendering Supervisor, Seager has worked in the VFX industry for over 16 years. His credits include work on big-budget features like the latest Bond entry, No Time To Die, Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, The Matrix Resurrections, and Avengers: Endgame.

Exclusive: The UK-based VFX and animation company Jellyfish Pictures has launched a new production outpost in Mumbai, India, and hired producer Jasjit Singh as General Manager to run operations.
Singh officially joined the company late last year. He has over 15 years of experience in the business and most recently worked as a Senior Producer, working across post-production, VFX, and animation production, at the Dneg Group-owned production company, ReDefine.

After selling off its post-production color finishing service to Streamland Media last week, Technicolor was reborn on Wednesday as Technicolor Creative Studios, a new restructuring that consolidates its remaining visual effects, gaming, and animation (Mikros Animation) companies under one division.
