Jeptha is a filmmaker and a member of the PGA. He was born in Los Angeles in 1988 to James Storm, an actor, and Jackie Townsend, a real estate agent. He grew up ping-ponging between Los Angeles, Italy, and Palm Springs. In 2007 he graduated from The Los Angeles Film School and spent the following decade working odd jobs on the periphery of the film industry. In 2014 he produced his first full-length play, The Vacancy, which received positive reviews from critics. In 2018 he was commissioned to write the book, The Life & Times of Billy Jackson, a biography about a renowned cat burglar. The following year he transitioned into producing a documentary series for network television entitled, Murdered By Morning. He continues working in the true-crime space and has helped produce shows for Oxygen, Investigation Discovery, and A&E.
