Alberto Pascual (Madrid, Spain, 04/02/1981) has always been interested
in Arts, Music and cinema. He studied Journalism Degree at Universidad
Complutense de Madrid. During this studies he recorded "Mantis" (2004),
his first short film. This film won the First Prize at Shortfilm
Contest of Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. On 2005 he started his
studies in Media and Communication at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
He recorded his second short film: "Dúplex" (2007), produced by María
Paz Hernández. "La presentadora" (2009) is his third short film, with
Marta Suárez, Iván Moraleda, Kira Miró, Javier Coronas and Javier
Collado, finalist at Horror and Gore Film Festival of Molins de Rei.
His last work is "The Lingerer", based on a story by Neil Gaiman,
script by Lori Ann Stephens and music by Max Perryment. This short
opera was recorded for the Minioperas competition organized by English
National Opera.
He has also worked as Assistant Director in TVE, and as Television Director, Editor and Camera Operator in Teatro Real de Madrid; becoming a young specialist in opera video recording and classical music productions.
