Scott Coleman(IX)
- Camera and Electrical Department
Scott has been a freelance camera and Steadicam operator since 2009. He spent the first 3 years of his career building his resume by operating Steadicam on several student films, low budget films, high end music videos, commercials, and television spots until in 2012 when he was hired as a Steadicam operator at the NFL Network on their new morning show "NFLAM". By operating Steadicam four to five days per week on the four hour-six camera LIVE morning talk show for the next two and a half years, working on over 250 episodes in that span, he would truly hone his craft.
In 2015 the network shifted him to their prime time weekday shows from in the studio like NFL Total Access, Fantasy LIVE, AfterMath, Thursday Night Football and many many more. In 2016 he was brought on by director Tony McCuin to operate Steadicam on the NFL Network's flagship Sunday morning show "NFL GameDay Morning" (hosted by Rich Eisen) which he operates on every Sunday during the NFL season and has now worked on over 100 episodes. He has also traveled with NFL Network to Super Bowl's XLIX, LI, LII, LIII, LIV and LVI as well as the 2018 NFL Draft Red Carpet and "Good Morning Football LIVE from the NFL Draft 2019" (in Nashville) as a Steadicam operator.
In total Scott has operated Steadicam on an estimated 1000+ show episodes for the NFL Network alone from 2012 to present day and also won his first Technical Emmy in 2018 for his work as a Steadicam Operator on the NFL Network's coverage of "Super Bowl LII" in Minneapolis.
From 2016 to present day he has operated Steadicam at Fox Sports and FS1 in the studio on various shows such as Undisputed: Skip & Shannon, NFL on FOX, FOX College Football, Big Noon Saturday, MLB on FS1, UFC Tonight, TUF Talk and UEFA, Inside PBC and
WWE: Backstage.
