Harvey Weinstein Says He’s ‘Profoundly Devastated’ Over Allegations, Still Hopes For ‘Second Chance’
Harvey Weinstein is breaking his silence over the multitude of sexual harassment accusations made against him, including three women who alleged he raped them. In an exclusive interview with Page Six’s Emily Smith, Weinstein says he is “profoundly devastated” by the accusations, which have ended his ten year marriage to Georgina Chapman. Chapman announced she was leaving her husband over his “unforgivable actions” in a statement made on October 10.

“I am profoundly devastated,” Weinstein told Page Six. “I have lost my wife and kids, whom I love more than anything else. I fully support her decision. I didn’t stand in Georgina’s way when we discussed a separation, I encouraged her to do what was in her heart. I know she has to do what is best for the children, for herself and her business,...

Disgraced Hollywood heavyweight Harvey Weinstein isn’t done talking to the press in the aftermath of revelations he sexually harassed — and in some cases, assaulted — dozens of women. Weinstein told Page Six on Wednesday that he’s “profoundly devastated” that his wife Georgina Chapman has decided to leave him. “I have lost my wife and kids, whom I love more than anything else,” Weinstein told reporter Emily Smith. The fallout over The New York Times’ bombshell exposé revealing decades-worth of sexual abuse allegations against Harvey Weinstein is only expected to grow in the coming days, but the media mogul has wasted no time in speaking his mind to the press. Weinstein released an official statement to the newspaper yesterday in which he bizarrely quoted Jay-z and admitted he has “work to do” in order to earn a second chance in the film community. The Nyt’s report included a handful of women accusing Weinstein of sexual abuse, including actress Ashley Judd and former assistants.
Weinstein granted an exclusive interview with the New York Post’s Emily Smith just hours after the exposé’s publication in which he criticized the newspaper for “reckless reporting” and confirmed that he’ll be suing the newspaper over its “inability to be honest” with him.

Kylie Jenner and Interview magazine are under fire, and not for the images of the reality star in butt-baring leather chaps.
The photoshoot also includes pictures of Jenner posed in a wheelchair, which led to outcries on social media and from disability advocates saying that the images are offensive.
"It's deeply disturbing," Emily Smith Beitiks, associate director of the Paul K. Longmore Institute on Disability in San Francisco, told CNN. "People with disabilities are already seen as powerless, and this just reinforces that."
But Interview says the shoot plays with ideas of power and subjectivity, and that it was not intended to be offensive.

The Town That Dreaded Showdown: Bouchareb Returns to New Mexican Landscape with Mixed Results
French director Rachid Bouchareb’s long celebrated filmography has garnered two of his titles Academy Award nominations for Best Foreign Language Film (Dust of Life; Days of Glory), along with a host of other accolades for a body of work that often revolves around either Algerian experiences in France (modern and period), or explorations of race and/or gender within unique narratives. A long-time producer of Bruno Dumont’s work, Bouchareb has been pursuing a variety of international productions. His latest, Two Men in Town, is a morality exercise that happens to take place in roughly the same Us locale as his last effort, 2012’s Just Like a Woman. Despite a notable cast and several rather arresting performances, the end result never elevates beyond a standard dramatic exercise that ends in more or less the same...

Perhaps one of the most blatant scams to drum up some controversial press happened this morning when Dimension Films publicity sent an email that read, "The MPAA is too prude for the Sin City Eva Green poster, according to media sources," with a link to a Page Six article by Emily Smith reading: Eva Green is just too sexy for the poster of her upcoming sequel to "Sin City," or so the MPAA believes. The actress is seen in a sheer robe in the poster for Dimension Films' and Frank Miller's "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For." We're told the poster was disapproved by the MPAA "for nudity -- curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown." Dimension declined to comment but it is believed execs are working on a compromise with the MPAA before the sequel opens Aug. 22. Here is the...

According to The New York Post's Page Six, however, the weekly magazine might have airbrushed the future King of England's appearance. "They enhanced gorgeous George with emerald green eyes, rosier cheeks and stronger strawberry-blond-tinged hair and brows," editor Emily Smith alleged Thursday night. "The already adorable prince appears in multiple photos inside with darker brown eyes and paler cheeks." Not so, says Us...

Press conferences are informative, but not typically fun, per se. However, when you’ve got two entertainers front and center who are seemingly very passionate about the film they’re promoting, the excitement leads to a laugh-packed back-and-forth. That film is “Family Weekend” and those entertainers are Kristin Chenoweth and Olesya Rulin. Rulin leads as Emily Smith-Dungy, a high school student with a passion for competitive jump roping. When her entire family misses an important competition, Emily decides enough is enough. She rallies her siblings, they kidnap their parents (Chenoweth and Matthew Modine), and refuse to let them go until they strike a proper balance between work and family. With “Family Weekend” [ Read More ]

I've known Richard Johnson for seemingly forever. Yet I never thought he'd leave NYC or even the New York Post despite many lucrative job offers over the years. And several scandals under his watch... But the paper announced today he's exiting the editorship after nearly 25 years and "moving to Hollywood to work on new digital ventures for News Corp, the parent company of The Post". (Presumably, this is something News Corp's Digital Media CEO Jon Miller is incubating.) Surprising, since newsosaur Richard is as old media as they come. "I love Page Six and The Post, but I've always wanted to give Los Angeles a try," he said. Here's my first piece of advice: learn the difference between Hollywood and La because they're not interchangeable. Taking over as the new Page Six editor is Emily Smith.
