Following the premiere of Investigation Discovery’s Quiet on Set, a docuseries that exposes the disturbing behind-the-scenes environments of various TV shows at Nickelodeon, The Naked Brothers Band alum Allie Dimeco has shared her own experience on the set of the show, which aired from 2007-09.
In the musical mockumentary series starring Nat and Alex Wolff as fictionalized versions of themselves, Dimeco played the former’s love interest, Rosalina. During the third season, Dimeco’s character, who is a teenager, has a short-lived romance with a French man named Michel (played by Jake Hertzog). In a scene of the two-part episode “Naked Idol,” he kisses her in front of Nat, causing Rosalina’s temporary exit from the band.

Director Patrick Lussier and writer Todd Farmer have re-teamed for Trick, which stars Omar Epps in the main role of Detective Mike Denver, a man obsessed with a serial killer that has remained one step ahead of him for years.
An elusive serial killer, “Trick,” returns each Halloween to kill innocent victims. Detective Mike Denver (Omar Epps) faced Trick once before, shooting him off a five-storey building. When Trick’s body disappears into the town river, everyone thinks he’s dead. Only Denver believes he’s still alive. But now, as strange occurrences disrupt the peace of the town, nobody can deny that Trick has returned. Obsessed with catching the murderer, Denver will do whatever it takes to stop Trick claiming their next victim.
Trick also stars Ellen Adair as Sheriff Lisa Jayne, the sheriff in the small town of Benton who has always considered Detective Denver as her mentor.

After bringing blood-stained scares to Valentine's Day with 2009's My Bloody Valentine and raising hell in 2011's Drive Angry, director/co-writer Patrick Lussier and co-writer Todd Farmer tap into Halloween horror with Trick, which follows a detective tracking a mysterious and vicious killer who strikes every Halloween season over the span of several years. With the new horror film now in theaters and on VOD and Digital HD from Rlje Films, Daily Dead recently caught up with Lussier to discuss the movie's festive Halloween atmosphere, reuniting with the legendary Tom Atkins, and how the story for Trick originally came from a sequel idea to My Bloody Valentine 3D.
Congratulations on Trick, Patrick. It felt a lot like My Bloody Valentine 3D, with you and Todd Farmer going back to the slasher subgenre. Did you and Todd have this idea for a while, or was this something that you guys recently came up with?...

Canadian and American filmmaker Patrick Lussier's next film is titled Trick. This film fan knows Lussier from his competent storytelling and shooting of Vampires II & III, which this writer saw for the first time, recently. Both films are amazingly well done - for an indie production. With Trick, Lussier is sticking with horror as killer Patrick "Trick" Weaver returns, after a tragedy several years earlier. Now, Trick is returning every Halloween, to finish what he started. Trick was co-written by Todd Farmer. Farmer and Lussier have worked together on My Bloody Valentine 3D (2009) and Drive Angry (Bloody Disgusting). And, their latest stars: Omar Epps (Dracula 2000), Ellen Adair, Kristina Reyes, Jamie Kennedy and Tom Atkins. The first poster and trailer, for the film, are hosted here. The first trailer shows Trick, behind a pumpkin mask. Everyone is playing a game. But, Trick is here to play-for-keeps. The bodies pile...

"People want a monster that they can fear." We're just about to enter October, which means it's the month of horror leading up to Halloween! Rlje Films has debuted an official trailer for the indie horror thriller titled Trick, the latest from writer / director duo Todd Farmer & Patrick Lussier (both of Drive Angry and My Bloody Valentine). Trick is the latest Halloween night horror, this one also involving a massacre from the past that comes to haunt people again. Omar Epps plays a no-nonsense detective trying to track down the serial killer named "Trick" who is terrorizing a small town. Also starring Ellen Adair, Kristina Reyes, Jamie Kennedy, Vanessa Aspillaga, and Tom Atkins. The main pumpkin mask seems to be inspired a bit by Dougherty's Trick 'r Treat, though this movie looks way more brutal and intensely violent. Watch out.
