- All-female pop band founded as a duo in NYC in the early 1990's by sisters Janet Wygal (guitar, vocal) and Tricia Wygal (bass, vocal), later joined by Delissa Santos (drums), Cindy E. Brolsma (cello) ,and Jennifer Richardson (violin). They had released their debut CD In The Grass in 1995 to little response. Their break came when Brolsma began working for MTV as a production assistant on the animated series Daria (1997). She placed a copy of the Splendora CD on the desk of Daria producer Susie Lewis and soon the band was chosen to record songs for the series. The songs were never officially released to the public and the band broke up soon after other members began to have families.
