Prior to an acting career, he was once a back-up singer/dancer of a
rap/hip-hop/dance crew back in 2002-2003 in Boston named "Status Quo",
which soon transformed to dance stars of the acclaimed fame 2nd place
winners of "MTV's Randy Jackson's Americas' Best Dance Crew". Both Daniel and 'S.Q.' Leader, Ernest "E-Knock" Phillips, were members of Project Concern Youth Dance Company before the start of "Status Quo".
