Happy 20th anniversary to Hail to the Thief, Radiohead’s most misunderstood album. If you doubt the last part of that sentence, consider the fact that Thom Yorke once described this supremely anxious, stubbornly combative music as being ideal “for shagging.” Our five brainy lads released it in the summer of 2003, two years after Kid A and Amnesiac caused a tectonic shift that changed music forever, as every fan at the time couldn’t wait to remind you. This is why Thief was always destined to be the black sheep...

Christmas comes this time each year, and so does Farrah Abraham in a Santa Suit ... and usually at a strip club. Farrah kicked off her holiday season at Crazy Horse III in Las Vegas Thursday night. The 'Teen Mom'/porn star wasn't stripping -- she was only pole-adjacent as the host of a holiday party. No doubt she helped fulfill some Christmas wishes though by raining cash on several of the dancers. Fa...

Most people demand bottles of Ciroc on their riders, but not Farrah Abraham, who's gonna be busy bedazzling her lady parts in her green room. Farrah's hosting a XXXMas party at the Las Vegas stripper institution Crazy Horse III Thursday and her rider is about what you'd expect from a porn star ... neon panties and a vajazzle kit. The former "Teen Mom" also gets very specific when it comes to hygiene, requesting "a pre-planned appointment...

Farrah Abraham just dared to bare. The Teen Mom Og star left little to the imagination as she stepped out Friday evening for an appearance at Crazy Horse III's VIP Black Door Key Party in Las Vegas, wearing a nearly see-through jumpsuit and nude pumps. Abraham walked the red carpet in the black lace number, which hugged every inch of her curves and exposed her backside. The 26-year-old went for a dramatic makeup look while also debuting a brand new 'do, one she referred to as "revenge hair" following her split from Simon Saran. She teased the transformation on Instagram, going from her typically platinum blond waves to a bombshell red color. It...

Director Jim Jarmusch is currently having quite a busy year. He has two films set for release: “Paterson,” starring Adam Driver as a bus driver and poet living in New Jersey, and the documentary “Gimme Danger,” which recounts the history of Iggy Pop and The Stooges. Forming the band in the late 1960’s, Iggy Pop was a provocateur, performing half-naked and stage diving while confronting the audience with such classic numbers as “I Wanna Be Your Dog,” “Search and Destroy,” and “Raw Power.” Featuring brand-new interviews with Iggy Pop, Jarmusch looks back at one of the seminal American rock bands, their impact on the culture, and the circumstances of their reformation in 2003. Check out two exclusive images from the film below.

We know how much you love watching the American West come alive on AMC's Hell on Wheels.
For five seasons you have watched the struggle to build railroad that will make travel between the east and west a reality and not necessarily a death sentence due to the hardships of traveling by horseback and on foot.
An all new episode of AMC’s limited series, The American West, airs this Saturday, June 18th at 10/9c.
On the second episode, “Two Front War” – executive produced by Robert Redford and Stephen David, and directed by John Ealer – Jesse James targets the railroads.
Custer is sent on a secret mission in Sioux Territory.
Grant deals with growing unrest in the west and south.
There was so much going on during that time, it's almost hard to believe, isn't it?

If there is one blemish in Jim Jarmusch’s exceptional filmography, it’s his first foray into documentary: 1997’s little-seen Year of the Horse, a surprisingly insipid portrait of Neil Young and Crazy Horse on tour. He gives it a second try with Gimme Danger, another homage to a legendary rock band, The Stooges, which, though more enjoyable and informative, nevertheless confirms that the director should stick to fiction.
Those hoping for something in the line of the Maysles brothers’ and Charlotte Zwerin’s Gimme Shelter will be sorely disappointed, as similarities don’t extend much beyond their titles. Unlike that canonical masterpiece, Jarmusch’s film is a strictly conventional affair that resembles any number of TV documentaries.
Addressing the camera, Iggy Pop (née James Osterberg) narrates the history of The Stooges, starting with a childhood living in a cramped trailer with his parents in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He describes...

Neil Young and Bluenote Café: Bluenote Café (Reprise)
This is Performance Series 11 from the Neil Young Archives project, a two-cd set of live recordings from eleven 1987-88 shows with his Bluenotes band, which had to be renamed because of a lawsuit by Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes. (The new name better reflects Neil's original inspiration, a beloved Winnipeg bar called, yes, Blue Note Café, shown on the cover.) The first two tracks on Bluenote Café are from the year before This Note's for You was released, the rest (oddly, presented in chronological order of recording date, with just one exception) coming from the tour to promote its release.
There has never been a consensus about This Note's for You, which marked Young's return to Reprise Records after his contentious tenure at Geffen, when his stylistic shifts into genre tangents (rockabilly, electronica) led to Geffen actually suing Young.

Cedric Jimenez‘s The Connection is a handling of a scenario touched upon from an American perspective in William Friedkin’s classic 1971 film The French Connection. A nicely mounted production peppered with several visually arresting moments and fine attention to period detail doesn’t have the same powerful draw as the earlier title. Unfortunately, Jimenez’s film often feels a bit too derivative by today’s standards of true crime epics. A great cast, headlined by Jean Dujardin and Gille Lelouche are reason enough to give the title a look, while it’s mid-July theatrical release (following mostly positive reviews out of the premiere at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival) yielded mild box office.
The Connection (aka La French) may not appear to be anything special. And the truth of the matter is, it really isn’t, except for the fact that it’s loosely related to the long spanning...

Le Chapitre Français: Jimenez’s Satisfactory Take on Famed Drug Smuggling Operation
Within the glut of cinematic dramas and thrillers contending with drug smuggling operations and underworld criminal organizations, epically administered and otherwise, Cedric Jimenez’s sophomore feature, The Connection (aka La French) may not appear to be anything special. And the truth of the matter is, it really isn’t, except for the fact that it’s loosely related to the long spanning series of drug related operations referred to as ‘the French Connection,’ which, of course, inspired William Friedkin’s iconic 1971 film The French Connection (which won Best Picture and spawned a John Frankenheimer directed sequel). Sporting an impressive production value and a handsome cast, Jimenez definitely gets the look and feel right, as far as our expectations are calibrated for how these things go. "Banksy Does New York" by Chris Moukarbel chronicles the month-long residence that the pseudonymous British street artist, political activist, painter and film director, from Bristol, England, known as ‘Banksy’ ("Exit Through the Gift Shop"), displayed throughout the city of New York last October, 2013.
For those who don’t know Banksy, no one has ever seen him before. His fans want to be the first to see his work, the police want to catch him in the act, and the collectors want to display his work in galleries. So last October s/he and his team, Pest Control, and Holly Cushing announced that the graffiti street artist would display one piece of art somewhere within the five boroughs, one a day for the entire month of October, 2013.
One piece of art work per day in an undisclosed place around New York, eluding to where it might be via social media, sent his followers on a scavenger hunt frenzy, as they hoped to be the first to arrive, filmmakers filming or requesting footage from others, bringing out the best and sometimes the worst in people.
Act fast, catch him if you can, because, often times, the works were painted over a few hours later, because it was painted on private property. Also, everyday was not a painting, there were also video clips, a display of a skeleton sitting in a bumper car, and gimmicks, selling his work at a kiosk near the Metropolitan Museum for only $60.00 making only $420.00 for the day, meanwhile unsuspecting customers found out later that they were worth $250,000 each. Auctions with one of his works raising $615,000 for the Housing Works, also the occasional entrepreneur or con artists covering his works with a cardboard box and asking spectators for $5.00 to snap a photo of it.
Has he become a sell out now that he has become more commercial and well known? Spot jockeying placing his artwork near others?
Day 1: Les: Allen Street, 4 hours later, it was painted over.

Neil Young never sits still for long. Just a few months ago, his Jack White-produced album "A Letter Home" traded in the Crazy Horse-driven bombast of 2012's "Psychedelic Pill" for brittle nostalgia rendered in solo acoustic tones. Now, he's shifting gears again. Young's new tune "Who's Gonna Stand Up?," from his upcoming album "Storeytone" is an extremely on-the-nose environmentalist plea aided by overproduced instrumentation including a 92-member orchestra and choir. Incredibly, the song was recorded live with no overdubs or additional tracking. The lyrics are as straightforward as it gets, asking listeners to clean up, recycle, stop fracking, and take on the Big Machine, with the chorus nicely tying it all together: "Who's gonna stand up and save the Earth?/This all starts with you and me." Listen here: If it's not to your taste, Young offers two completely different versions of the track on his official web site,...

Following Aria and Hanna’s scuffle over Zack, a new clip from Tuesday’s episode (ABC Family, 8/7c) shows another set of liars at each other’s throats: Spencer and Emily!
It should come as no surprise that their argument — which actually gets pretty tense — is steeped in Ali drama, though I’d be careful if I was Emily. Has she seen what Spencer did to Noel’s hand?!
