Katlin McGrath
- Actress
Katlin McGrath was born in Tucson, Arizona on March 13, 1986, to
parents Eileen and Michael McGrath. Her mother a PhD, has spent her
career working with infants and children with developmental
disabilities, while her father is an attorney. Growing up, it was clear
Katlin would always be a performer. Her parents and grandparents
christened her "Katlin Hepburn" because of her antics and love of
creating characters. Youth theatre was mixed in with sports and other
activities growing up, but acting was the one that stuck. After
graduating high school in 2004, Katlin was accepted into the BFA Acting
program at the University of Arizona, a conservatory style program with
a large university background. After a traumatic car accident in 2005,
her course was put on a brief hold, but she returned to finish her
degree in May 2009. At her senior graduating showcase, Katlin was given
the Jack Wagner excellence in Acting Award for her achievements and was
given a small role on the CBS soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful.
After filming, Katlin moved to New York City to continue her career,
working in theatre and film.
