- Born in Brooklyn, New York, Jon moved to Canton, MA when he was five years old.
Jon's father introduced him to photography at age three. In the sixth grade Jon saved his lunch money to buy an 8mm video camera with which he practiced filmmaking through his early high school years. At Canton High School Jon studied filmmaking in television production classes. In 2008 Jon enrolled at Emerson College where he earned a B.A. in Film Production. That same year he received the National Academy's Television Arts and Science's student award for "Best Long-Form Fiction Film" in the New England Chapter of the 2008 High School competition.
Since then Jon has worked on three seasons of CBS's, "The Amazing Race" as a coordinator in the transportation and production departments. He currently works as the key camera loader on the CBS drama, "The Good Wife".- IMDb Mini Biography By: Jon Cortizo
