With Supergirl season 3 poised to arrive in the Us, and shortly thereafter here in the UK, here's a reminder of all the season 2 action...
Supergirl had an interesting second season. Not only did the series move to The CW after spending its first season on parent network CBS, but it also delved a lot more into Kara’s life as a person outside of her powers. She fell in love, she got a job as a reporter, and she attempted to get by without the wise words of Cat Grant to guide her.

And she wasn’t the only one experiencing a huge transition, with Alex going through a much-celebrated coming out storyline and James suiting up to become Guardian. With Supergirl’s third season just days away, let...

There's a new Martian in town on The CW's Supergirl, but M'gann M'orzz's story is just beginning to unfold. DC Comics fans were excited when Supergirl cast Sharon Leal to play the beloved Miss Martian on the show. The actor first appeared in last week's episode, "Welcome to Earth," as a bartender at the secret alien bar Alex and Maggie investigated. She revealed herself as a Martian to J'onn J'onzz/Hank, which was quite a surprise to him considering he assumed he was the last Martian alive. She took a more active role, and we learned something huge, in this week's episode "Survivors." Fan-favorite Dichen Lachman (Dollhouse, Agents of Shield, The 100) joined the cast this week to play villain Roulette (Veronica Sinclair), who runs a superhero fight club (no, not the friendly kind) and casino/illegal gambling ring that's been depicted in the comics, Smallville, and the animated series Justice League Unlimited.

Thanks to Twitter user @scoobycoo (via Yvr Shoots) we have some new Supergirl season 2 set pics, giving us a slightly blurry first look at another DC villain that's going to be introduced: Veronica Sinclair, A.K.A Roulette. We still don't know exactly how this take on the character is going to be utilized on the show, but it's a safe bet she'll have something to do with arranging metahuman gladiatorial fights. Roulette will be played by Dichen Lachman, last seen on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Daisy's duplicitous mother. In Season One, Supergirl soared fighting crime and battling various villains, chief among them two Kryptonians who were intent on destroying earth, but she has yet to find that same empowerment as Kara Danvers. Now, in Season Two, Kara has left the safety of being Cat Grant’s assistant in order to figure out what she really wants to do,...

Following on from the news that Breaking Bad's Michael Bowen has joined the cast of Gotham season 2 as Matches Malone, Variety reports that Tank Girl herself, Lori Petty, will also be making a guest appearance as Jeri. Though this is probably a new character created just for the show, the description provided by Variety does make it sound like she could well be an incarnation of Roulette. "The flamboyant and enigmatic hostess of an underground club where mass murder and art are celebrated in equal measure, Jeri gives clues to Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) during his hunt for his parents’ killer, but she and her gang of merry maniacs are less helpful when Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) comes calling." Roulette, Aka Veronica Sinclair, runs a casino known as The House, which doubles as a superhuman gladiatorial arena. Now while Gotham doesn't have many super-powered characters (yet, anyway), it's always...
